Wazza says in the papers that in best case scenario (new players) we won't be ready until round 3. You can't just gather new players and start playing well in planned game style.
Means that the Club people shared the same opinion as some posters: it's a long preseason, why rush before actual kick off.
We play in only two competions, Cup and League. From first we are eliminated. For the second will not be ready on time.

Happier days to come after CFG exit. CFG.care about Man City. A bit about NYC cause of market size. They openly stated how much and what is the policy regarding us. They got us for peanuts. If something like Mooy happens that's a plus for them. For their operating level, there is no money in Au soccer. ACL, apparently not interested into initial investment to get there. As of today nothing has changed, Sydney not to be challanged, other Melbourne club too formidable with (re)signnings. We will contest 3rd spot. If we would sign Martinez that would be almost identical as NYC for the same position. He can twist and turn. Milligan would stop him.

Same old story. There ia a lot of time before season kick off yada-yada ... Like we are awaiting whether Ronaldo or Neymar will change thieir loyalties. We better be lucky and sign a couple (anonymous) players who will turn to be good like a Bruno or at least Brandan. There is no sense of good management. Brattan doesn't have enough caps for Socceroos that's keeping us with us.
