  1. Loudest chant of the night for a reason fuck knuckle, learn to appreciate talent.
  2. McGregor was on the back foot the whole time, he was the only one running. As for score, there is much more to winning a round than simply hitting more. Things such as controlling the ring go a long way, which is exactly what Money was doing. Mayweather was able to literally walk into McGregor, so much for his 'unbelievable power'. The one decent uppercut Connor landed did absolutely nothing, showed he was completely out of his depth. The whole thing was an embarrassment, neither fighter gave their whole effort, and it was 100% called early at the first sign of trouble. Simply traded love taps for 30 mins before laughing with each other about how much they had made.
  3. Lol. I can only comment on the autism side of things, but if you think that the families and professionals involved with a kid who falls on the spectrum are not fully behind improving the current methods of implementing said kids into schools, you should probably go get assessed yourself. FWIW there is a pretty big set of existing requirements that a kid has to pass before being admitted (including a 'slowness' test rofl), and the really problematic ones that somehow get through are probably only there because the parents are stupidly unable to accept that their kid is not normal. I agree that this isn't beneficial to anyone involved, least of all the kid themselves. It still remains a great source of frustration for teachers, aides, professionals and the like. The super bad ones do get sent to a special requirements school, and usually spend their life in care centers. However, professionals also remain notoriously bad at over-diagnosing the severity of disorders, and its only after pushing to get into the schooling system (with the required amount of prior preparation and on-going support) that it's discovered the child isn't actually a total write off, and goes on to become a weird, yet functioning member of society. If this opportunity wasn't provided, they'd likely be useless for the rest of their lives, being a much larger overall drain on social support measures. Lets face it, the disabled kids at schools are defs not the biggest distractions in the classroom. If they are, the schools you're talking about must be fucking boring. When you weigh up between having 12 years of slight added distraction against a lifetime of taxpayer funded support, I know what I'm picking (and this is before even considering the rights and personal well-being of the diagnosed kid themselves and their family). As awareness increases, obviously the number diagnosed also increases. Would love to see how many blokes your age have gone their whole lives living with autism without realising. Kinda shows that it doesn't always have to be a major personal issue actually, as they've managed without ever knowing. Drugs will only be supplied to autistic kids to address issues relating to severe behavioural problems (ie, the not at school types), and is incredibly rare and largely against professional recommendation. I agree on more of the tough love treatment, which actually forms a large part of the early development education program (ABA) that diagnosed kids go through. Many ABA therapists get frustrated by the unwillingness of the parents and school teachers to crack down on the child, who are fearing a blow out (this can also generally extend to normal functioning brats too).
  4. The 100m dash, followed by a test of your social media posting skills. A background knowledge of the cheapest places to buy Fred Perry will also help. Goodluck!
  5. In the USA's case (which probably wouldn't be all too different from us should capital punishment be allowed), the overall cost of having someone placed on deathrow is insanely more costly than a life sentencing. Considering how lenient our system is, I imagine the legal fees and process to have someone killed would escalate out of hand due to appeals, retrials and other general red tape. Idealistic to think that someone would get convicted and then jabbed the next morning to save a few bucks.
  6. MU5 are a continuation of one of the old Y-side youth groups, however largely consist of different members these days. Semi-organised kids, and have contributed to both terrace groups, including some decent displays. Not going to bother with commenting on S16.
  7. For the internationals on here, what channel are games usually televised on? BT sports or?
  8. Nah nah nah, nothing against Anime or having an interest in it, that's fine. Just as long as you're not embarrassingly pushing it on to every Japanese person you come across. The issue is completely misinterpreting circumstance, and before you know it you've subjected the poor Japanese girl working reception at a shitty 1000 yen a night hostel, who's too polite to tell you to fuck off, to a 2 hour spiel about how you have a deep connection with Japan that magically developed after watching a bunch of School Rumble in your teen years.
  9. TTIM: those Anglo cunts who travel to Japan thinking they're on some spiritual journey to their true homeland, all based on the fact that they like anime/manga. Fucking die, the locals hate you, and they still think you're as dumb as the rest of us. And ffs, stop trying to speak shitty Japanese straight from a phrase book.
  10. Would love to hear what the walking AASB has to say about this.
  11. Very quickly: -If you don't want to learn too much about the market, stick to shit like Etfs. Track the market, generally providing decent growth. -A-REITs and other property ETFs are a good option for property, without large upfront fees. -Cash offers fuck all atm, however 80k should still give you an extra 2k a year in income, risk free. -Pay to speak with a professional. 80k is significant, they'll be able to give you the best options according to your goals. (much better than asking a bunch of gamblers)
  12. Except those basic things aren't clinically diagnosed. You'll never be referred onto a shrink by stating that you've got 'the blues', and in fact, you probably wouldn't even present to the doctor in the first place. However that doesn't mean that someone has to be bed-ridden with depression or struggling at work to be suffering from serious illness; in fact a large amount find that work can become a comfort zone, and they are at their best there. I can guarantee you though that anyone who has gone through a clinical episode will come out saying that it is much worse than any physical illness they have had. I agree that there are a lot of people out there incorrectly diagnosing themselves for short periods, however your comment above is so far off the mark it's concerning, and a demonstration of the lack of public understanding surrounding such issues. In terms of funding I don't really have much comment, the 10 subsidised sessions do have an impact, however due to the long-term characteristics of mental illness, they probably aren't the most efficient way of funding. I also don't think medication subsidies are the right way either, and would rather see that money placed in more permanent treatment. I reckon everyone I know has been impacted by a suicide at some point, in fact I would say that other than the complication of old age, it would be the number one cause of death in my social setting/community.
  13. Rofl, I didn't have it in mind when I posted, but it certainly can be applied. Classic.
  14. The name Stefan seems to be reserved exclusively for cunts.
  15. Just to clarify a few things: - I'm defs not Catholic - I absolutely hate kiddie fiddlers - I don't hand out reach arounds for simply winning an internet battle; you have to earn those. I'm all for bringing the church to account for the terrible acts that were committed. I will also concede that I have only been half interested in this issue, as it doesn't register as a passion of mine. Therefore I know that I will be incorrect about a couple of points. However, my main concern with this whole ordeal is that I feel the anger is being completely misplaced. As far as I am aware, Pell isn't under suspicion of assault himself is he? So can anyone here, without looking them up, list the names of the priests who are actually guilty? (looking at you Ceasar). I understand that as a person of leadership, Pell deserves scrutiny, but unless there is concrete evidence that he went out of his way to cover up the acts of lower ranked officials (which hasn't been shown what, 4 times now?), then he only can be labelled as a potentially shady character, rather than the devil incarnate, which is the current narrative. If he was to apologise tomorrow, would everyone then move on to the actual criminals? Even then, when it comes to an apology and adequate compensation, I would be more inclined to go after the organisation itself, rather than a singular individual within it.
  16. I know it's technically not a football film, but surely you give 'The Business' a good rating?
  17. This is honestly the most retarded thing I have ever had to read on this forum.
  18. When can I expect my green line to arrive in the mail?
  19. You're all being played. FFA are delibrately positioning the situation so that the lack of appeal process becomes the key issue, and that the other, more difficult problems are forgotten about. Just watch, they'll come out in the next few days with some weak arse appeal system, which will now allow for 1, maybe even 2, banned fans to return to games. Media will applaud them for listening to the fans, and those who have protested will be so caught up in a circle jerk over how they 'forced' the FFA to act that they'll forget all the other important shit. FFA manage to avoid conflict with News Corp, regain a large amount of goodwill, and don't have to address the more difficult issues of privacy invasion and misunderstanding of fan culture, along with their blatantly incompetent administration. That being said, they do tend to be completely retarded in whatever they do, so I wouldn't be surprised if they have actually fucked this whole situation up accidentally.
  20. I'm obviously not speaking for anyone else other than myself here, but I believe it would be more so simply a rebirth of Heart, rather than bitter rebellion against the takeover. I imagine it would have no relevance at all to City and CFG, other than the shared supporter base.
  21. Lol, this post is a year old today. I recommend going back to the start of this thread to see some more classic posts. How the fuck does this prick still have a job. The team, no matter who is in it, has remained terrible for years. I sincerely hope that I don't have to bump this post in a years time upon getting home from another standard JvS performance.
  22. Bump The champion even celebrated when they scored.
