Kilkenny and Budzinski need to start and we need to sack Valkanis.
At the start of the game Valkanis and Wazza looked like best mates.

What changes do we make ?
if Cahill doesn't start on Tuesday surely he's a straight swap for Crowley
Who does killa replace? No one deserves to be dropped for him.
Good problems to have with 2 of our best players returning

People have been critical because Roar didn't look that good, and reckon we should have looked better as a result. But look at it this way, Roar were only as good as we allowed them to be, and we set out to nullify them. I suspect that under Wazza we are going to be much more defensive and pragmatic. We'll set out not to concede first and foremost, and then take our chances when we get them.
Budzik has barely started either. And meanwhile McCormack will get better as he builds understanding. Depth too, there are players we rate, such as Arzani, who didn't even make the bench last night.
TBH if azarni couldnt get a gig last night he will struggle unless we get injuries
from last nights team Cahill and Killa have to return
which will leave Crowley and ?carusca? Out

Was going to vote pregame on this but Malik was very solid tonight same with muscat

Watching his press conference - this guy is so fuckin boring and sounds thick as a plank. He barely comprehends the questions. I find it really hard to imagine how he impressed enough in an interview to make up for his poor CV.
But who knows, maybe that's what you need to succeed in the A-league. Hopefully our players respond well to that sort of thing.
Disagree was pretty straightforward and honest.
we don't need an entertainer as a manager.

Joyce conformed Ross to start but did not conform Budders sighting his fitness maybe not up to 100% yet
i wouldn't hat seeing chelo start in the number 10 role give us a good start!
-
might cop shit for this as he was our best player last season
but if we lost Kilkenny we'd have coverage for his position Bratz would step up with game time surely

How about
Eugene
Muscat Bart Jako Jamo
Kilkenny
Bratts Budders
Fitzy Ross. Kamau
Bouz
Chelo
Brandan
Arzani
Mauk
Would need LaRocca or Malik on the bench to cover any defensive changes

I think Malik has to play on the bench as he is a player that can play a number of positions (although some poorly)
is versitle in the back half
-
Brisbane are still keen to run a back 3
If we are clinical enough to take our chances will be the only reason we won't get the 3 points

Bart - Larocca - Jako (c) - Jamieson.
Kilkenny. Brattan
Budzinski
Fitzgerald McCormack Mauk
SUBS Kamau - Bouzanis - Carrusca- Malik- Arzani
Assuming Ross the Boss is here i think he'll start. If not imo we play Mauk at striker and one of Arzani or Kamau at LW. Also wouldnt be surprised if Mauk started in midfield over Brattan. Muscat prob the next man in if they decide to start Bort at CB.
Overall I'm pretty confident. Whilst i dont think they'll be pushovers, i dont think Roar will be all that good this year. Our biggest issue will be scoring, esp if McCormack doesnt play. 2-0 for mine. I've actually been fairly happy with our defence so far this pre-season, i think we look far more steely at the back, even if it hasnt resulted in a heap of clean sheets. We'll be much harder to penetrate this season imo.
As much as Kamoo is a whipping boy I like him as a sub as his pace is even more present once the defence has tired.
I also like our defence for the season dramatically strengthened from last season
