Why have they moved it from Saturday night? I don't think I'd be able to make it on Sunday, I'd planned everything around going on Saturday

Any idea what the attendance was at Kogarah? Didn't look like many.
Yes, he was. It was no spectators at all at AAMI or regional-only spectators in Geelong. They chose neither.
Today’s crowd was 2,283 lol. Hardly worth moving it to Sydney for a crowd like that. Would’ve gotten more in Geelong and barely would’ve made more money than if they just kept it in a locked out AAMI.

They're gonna get bugger all crowd in NSW anyway. May as well hold onto some semblance of integrity and let us play in Vic.

Jack Hendry (remember his strange little cameo with us) is starting for Scotland in the Euros tonight

Now the fun and games begin, AFL have moved the 2 Melbourne games to Tassie as they arnt allowing crowds. So don't expect that we will have a crowd at AAMI.
Now to see what the league does, give us our deserved home final, or shift us to Sydney for money
Interestingly the game in Geelong on Friday will still go ahead with only the games in metropolitan Melbourne being moved. Maybe we can move the game to either Geelong or Ballarat so at least we get to stay in our own state and Macarthur still have to travel.
Obviously would rather just play behind closed doors at AAMI but if some level of crowds are allowed in regional areas then it's far better than moving it to Sydney

This has been a gruelling game for Macarthur. Playing 120 minutes - 45 of those with 10 men. They’re missing Genreau to Socceroos. They’ll be missing Meredith due to red card. Susaeta looked somewhat injured. They’ll have next to no travelling support. I was very scared of Adelaide or Brisbane so getting to avoid them is good news. It’s all worked out perfectly for us, so i’m expecting a bullshit 0-1 loss.

Only just been able to start watching. What happened with Griff?

Atkinson and Nabbout coming back is huge. Nabbout can hopefully play finals as our number 9, Atkinson as a impact winger or right back
Provided they’re properly fit, a front 3 of
Noone - Nabbout - Atkinson
with Tilio, Colakovski and Tsubaki ready to fill any of those, is definitley capable of winning the finals
I really rate Atkinsons ability to beat his man and put in a good cross so I think he’d be well suited to playing on the wing

As funny as it would be to throw this game to give MV the spoon I think it's more important to get the team sorted and gelled before finals. Really need to figure out who we are playing at striker.

Anything to suit Sydney 😡

Nah a draw will be enough for them to overtake Newy. The equation is simple: we win and they get the spoon. We have to be ruthless.

Welp... we’ve officially pulled out. No ACL this year, and probably no ACL next year due to suspension.

Man Gorgevski really sucks

Tsubaki has been lively

I really hope Griff is okay soon. We won’t win anything with Gorgievski starting at CB

Code ‘GOCITYGA’ on ticketek for 2 GA tickets for $20 ($10 each). Not sure if anyone on here needs it since i think most of us would be members but just in case.

Daniel Arzani has had 31 minutes with Aarhus and hasn't played since February.
He finally returned last night coming off the bench in the 94th minute - playing a grand total of about 30 seconds.

Whilst it is very difficult to attribute social media engagement to tangible business outcomes (i.e. selling memberships, revenue growth etc.), the engagement from Japanese fans in relation to Naoki Tsubaki is really something and highlights the interest that can be garnered by tapping into the Asian market (particularly if that player is a young prospect).
This is really noticeable from today's game:
Twitter post for Tsubaki's goal - 942 likes & 275 re-tweets.
Twitter post for Maclaren's goal - 72 likes & 15 re-tweets.

I'd bring back Awer Mabil. Not happy in Denmark and yeah, even though he wants to stay in Europe, he could also view City as a stepping stone like Arzani and Mooy.
Mabil isn’t coming back to the A-league any time soon. He’ll have plenty of European suitors

Surely if it was bad news they’d save it until after the grand final??
