Worst 1st half performance I have seen, Kew surely played his last game for us as I have said before no, pace ball watching , gives away a stupid penalty , and gets a red card. ( good game son ) , left Connor horribly exposed , Chapman had his worst game to date , Paddy good and bad , Germano did a lot of running about but no real input , Koren was Koren ???????, there seems to be a pattern developing with Aaron quiet 1st half great 2nd half I shudder to think of our team without him, Kennedy was rightly subbed Tell me (Is He Fit Or Is He Not ) his performances have been below standard, Hoffman had a torrid afternoon to be fair there winger is more than a handful, and considering he wouldnt be match fit ( I hope Clisbys fit for next week ) Eric was exposed , Velaphi for me good keeper but doesnt spread himself enough at one on ones, all in all a SHIT performance .

Recently we went on a run of 5 games undefeated which came unstuck against Perth due to bad finishing, bad refereeing, and injuries , I thought our passing game was excellent , if we go on another couple of games undefeated we could find ourselves playing in a Grand Final ( Dreaming ) maybe But it is possible, then we would be saying We had a successful season, the only team I fear are the Victory every other team is beatable. IF WE TURN UP then what would be the opinion of JVS

Hope Saf makes a full recovery, but I am still not convinced he would have been a good signing, surely there are better visa players out there, do we have a scouting system in place. ????

Clisby was injured, was seen at Melbourne Airport in the early hours on crutches, hope its not too serious we need him for the run in and the finals, as for the game 1st half we totally dominated couldnt buy a goal, we should go for McClaren a proven goalscorer after his post match interview , I reckon he is there for the taking get in quick before Victory step in. Training this week should be shooting practise only, I thought our passing game was excellent , until one of many bad decisions by referee Beath swayed the game in Glorys favour and the linesmen weren't much better either.

I see the Perth CEO Jason Brewer has taken one for the team and resigned, imagine being able to spend $500 000 over the salary cap budget without Tony Sage ( Millionaire Mining Magnate ), the Directors and Kenny Lowe even knowing about it HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME, never mind Jason no doubt you got a good redundancy pay Cheque.

Surely there is a prolific young striker playing in the Victorian Premier league, in fact any State Premier League , or does our Scouting System not include Domestic State Leagues.

Just been reading about Keogh, his Wife , and Uncle both picking up hefty pay checks sanctioned by Glory Management , Kenny Lowe saying he only deals with the playing side cmon Kenny you sourced Keogh and other players you knew you were well over the cap, and this has been going on for not 1 but 3 years, certain players been given Free Cars and Accomodation , both Keogh and Marinkovich earning $700 000 between them plus bonuses its a joke, maybe what Kosmina said on Fox that every team should be investigated ,And maybe the FFA should think about having a special department that checks the books of every club more stringently. ESPECIALLY OUR NEIGHBOURS ACROSS THE CITY.

Fair comment I just get the feeling no matter what JVS, will find a place in the team for him at the expense of others because of the hype and coverage in Asia , for me Clisby had done a decent job only to be omitted for a right centre mid , this caused the penalty ,he could give away 3 penaltys and still be selected. That is the reality. As things stand im not overly impressed I hope he proves me wrong. Time will tell.

Good right sided utility, looks sloppy on the left the penalty was typical of a right sided player being caught, will cost us , if we were knocked out of finals with a penalty like that i dont think we would be praising him so much.

Well done Tando on a solid performance. To me as said previous Jaliens should be on bench as he is too slow for RB and Chapman is going to always get the CB along with Kisnorbo. Saf had a poor game and he was lucky he got out of jail with that penalty (which was a clear penalty). Think he is better in at RB and Clisby LB. Although Retre did impress coming off the bench. Melling just back on the pitch and is suspended for the next match! He picks up too many yellow cards and hopefully he will get out of this with more experience. Mooy had a quiet first half well marked but had a good second half, his set pieces are quality. I think Koren played one of his best games yesterday. Germano started well but faded in the second half. The coaches need to teach Novillo how to pass to team mates he seems to want to do it all himself (could be due to fighting for a contract??). I do like his attacking mentality but he is getting too predictable cutting inside. Kennedy seems to be getting fitter hope he peaks in time for the finals. This is the second week that I remember that Williams didn't really make an impact when he came off the bench. We have Jaliens and Melling missing the game next week with suspension but hopefully this wont impact our performance too much.

My strongest team would be. Tando Saf , Connor , Kisnorbo , Clisby Partalu , germano , Mooy, Koren , Kennedy , Novillo. I would have. Jalliens on bench as the speed of the Phoenix frontline would be too much for the 36year old . Ive included Saf at right back at the expense of Retre. On the bench Redmayne , Williams , Jalliens , Murdocca , Ramsey.

Ive been pondering over JVS team selection and the only team he would pick to include Connor and Saf is the same pick as Nico Jalliens moved to RB Connor to CB alongside Paddy and go with Saf af left back if this happens its a slap in face for young Clisby who we know has been involved in the number of clean sheets we have had, also if Melling is fit who will he Replace Koren No Way will JVS drop him it will likely be Germano who also on his recent form would not deserve to be omitted either.
