At least this rules out the game being played in Sydney once and for all. City can strongarm APL and just say they aren’t putting their players in harms way.

Coming from lockdown, reckon we can excuse the lads from a lacklustre performance, particularly when we lose key players to injury and testing new players.
The longer the game went on, the harder it would become with Newcastle fighting to avoid the spoon.

Almost makes you think we lied about the severity of his injury but by all reports this guy is a beast behind the scenes and one of the hardest workers off the pitch.

I like this, helps clubs retain top talent within the league (i.e. Nabbout) and also bringing in new top talent who lift the standard of the league (i.e. likes of Davila, Hemed, Danzaki) who mightn't be marquee level from the outset (i.e. Davila) if at all (i.e. Hemed).

Did anyone watch the Olyroos match this morning? By all reports Arzani and Najjarine played quite well.
EDIT: Also, Nicolas Colazo has signed for some Argentianian side (cf. his Twitter) - only 30 years old, he could have been an elite A-League player if he stayed long term imo. -

It’s going to be such a shame that this will have a COVID capacity in all likelihood.
Fixture deserves 10-12k attendance imo, I really hope this isn’t played behind closed doors.
