Great series. Watched season 1. Thought it was great. Got the books. Read them and then watched season 2 and was very underwhelmed. For similar reasons as Malloy and Cadete. I don't like the casting for Stannis. He is supposed to be an iron fist and his character in the TV series just doesn't do him justice. After seeing the New cast members for season 3 they don't seem too bad.

I agree. having an extra man for 77 minutes. to then be dominated to such a degree. most disappointing for sure.

Regardless of whether the kid was time wasting, there is a better way to get the ball off him. Use your hands for one. Kicking was inappropriate and I see no reason why he shouldnt be suspended for a few games. Likewise that kid should not be involved in the running of any football games in the future, be a fan in the stands if you want to support your team.

Of course this ability alone won't make a striker a good player. But it would make him a more well-rounded player and more valuable to the team.

He is that kind of player. Outstanding for 2 mins, goes missing for 88. Thing is the two minuts of brilliance results in creating goal chances for himself and others. Would love to see him becoming a bit more rounded. that's what a great striker does. Playing up front as a lone striker means he isn't going to always be involved in the game, but when he is involved and when he does get the chance you want him to take it which is what he's been doing recently. He doesnt have to always be involved in the game, but I never really see him win a header in the middle of the ground, which means everytime we clear it long, when under pressure is quite often, the ball is coming straight back, even if he won 20% of headers, that would relieve some pressure for the defense. the only exception when clearing is when Colosimo clears it into the closest player. That shit is getting old.

I don't know if it is just me, but everytime we go long out the back we are essentially turning the ball over because Tadic either doesn't compete in the air for the header or is always beaten in the air. Just an observation but that is something I would like to see him develop in his game.

the staff were great there jimmy. Helped us numerous times when the TV changed over to something different. Was in the chance to win a weber BBQ aswell. The only blemish is I reckon the Cajun chicken pizza we had there kept me over the toilet for a few hours last night. Hopefully might be going to kermonds tonight.

Amen to that. Had to watch the game from warnambool. Boys looked good. Willo looked out of sorts at times. Like someone else mentioned, kalmar struggled to make an impact. Walker was great. Tadic looked as if he seriously fatigued towards the end of the game, maybe fitness issue there?? Looked to be a good turnout. Having bays 16 and 18 available to GA made it look better on the TV having the fans looking more cohesive instead of yarraside standing by themselves. All in all a good performance, hopefully some of the people who went tonight acknowledged the good performance and return in the future. It was a stark contrast from last week which was horrid defensively.

I live there. Go to the Flying Horse. It's out near the maccas on the high way and Deakin University. If they don't already have it on they'll be more than happy to put it on one of the screens. It's a really nice place. My favorite in the whole town. Side note: Don't leave Warrnambool without getting a burger, chips and thickshake from Kermonds just off the main street near target. Won so many awards. It's a local icon. Matt Preston makes trips down a few times a year just for Kermonds. Cheers mate. The flying horse it is then. In fact in the UK lower leagues you don't have the chance to win the championship or title. That is only won in the first 46 games. But you get a chance at promotion instead which I think is fair. Imo 6th is an acheievement when you have 24, but not so in a 10 man comp. I think it should be top 4 teams play finals. That way you actually have to be in the top half of the table to make it.

Been there. Unfortunately not to see a game as it was off season. Although I ddi get to walk on the pitch as they left a side gate open with was awesome.

After beating Arsenal in the QF, they have taken their heroics to another level winning the SF 1st leg 3-1 over Aston Villa overnight. One can't help think this might be a cinderella story! Will they be able to hold off Villa at Villa Park?

Congratulations to Michael! I feel like he hasn't been playing that well this season, althought he was one of the best on Sunday vs Roar. This will be a great opportunity for Walker who in my opinion excelled vs Perth when Marrone and Behich were on International duty. If he can play the same way when given his chance that is a very exciting prospect. My dad came along to the Perth game and was impressed by what he saw from Kalmar and each week asks me if he got a gig. He looked good in that Perth game, any chance he might make it back into the squad? even on the bench?
