  1. To my mind protests such as Joyce out get scant attention at the media or suit and tie level. It's yet another supporter group fed up with their manager. Dead common.

But something along the lines of "City Group Out" and "No more Manchester Player Puppy Farm" - that gets a lot of attention. Bonus if added to twitter, insta and Man City forums.

I have no doubt that City Group (and Man City fans) think that everything is sunshine and peaches with the clubs that received the benevolent buyout.

Might get a shock to learn that a lot of us think their shit stinks to high heaven

  2. I'm tempted to call BS over that World Game article over a Sydney move. It would surely have leaked before now, and Bruno doesn't seem the type to easily uproot the family.

More worryingly is that it is a club leak of some sort, and possibly false and deliberate to put him off side with supporters.

Either way, it indicates a deep rift between club and player.

To be fair yo Baccus, Brattan and the CBs everytime they had the ball and were looking to pass it every midfielder and forward was either literally standing still next to a Syd player or just jogging forward alongside a Syd player.

We have a huge issue with our off the ball movement. Our players aren't looking to receive the ball with their next pass in mind, they aren't moving to create space for others to receive the ball.

You have absolutely nailed it. And it is so basic and obvious, and purely down to Joyce.

I've (we've) suffered a lot of soul crushing since game 1 day 1 Melbourne Heart, but somehow - and I dunno why - last night was for me the most dejecting of all. Probably down to a final final realization that there is no accountability at this shambles of an organisation purporting to be a football club

  4. Arzani reminds me of a lovely couple of weeks once when I was seeing a girl way out of my league. I knew it, and I knew that sooner or later she would know it, and she'd move on up to her level.

Enjoy the ride while you can, cause he'll be off sooner or later when a prettier and richer club comes a calling.

The key thing is for everybody who attends matches but is not yet a parent to hurry up and reproduce. That is the only way attendances will actually grow. Sure it may go up or down by  bit season to season, but the reality is we have probably reached the limit of rusted on supporters for this club until people who are taught to support the club by their parents start coming along. If there was anyone in Melbourne who could potentially be interested in supporting this club they would already be attending games. That is the harsh reality of it. But we don't need large attendances to stay afloat as we already have a secure financial backing. Just enjoy the short beer lines imo.

In other words free Melbourne City frangers distributed to club members, said prophalactics to come complete with holes.

Ability for the condoms to pipe out a rousing rendition of "So Happy Together" upon ejeculation would be a bonus.

  6. Hitler’s main tactical error was agreeing to a winter away match.

Should have listened to Napoleon - never play Russia away in the winter. Those guys will line up solid on defence for 80 minutes and then smash you on the counter

  7. Hitler would have made a shit World Cup manager.

Easily defeat Poland, Netherlands and Denmark early in the rounds and soundly thrash France in the quarters.

3 nil up at half time against England in the semis and he’s destracted by the upcoming final against Russia, so pulls 3/4 of the squad and prematurely starts a second match before the first is finished.

Plus Blitzkreig is a crap style of football.
