  1. It is interesting, but Aziz is a gun Would JA go with a 3-4-3 considering Eli might be coming back and then losing Behich?
  2. Yes he was and announces the renegades game too
  3. Could we follow a model like the Green Bay Packers in the NFL? Green Bay Packers, Inc., has been a publicly owned, nonprofit corporation since Aug. 18, 1923, when original articles of incorporation were filed with Wisconsin’s secretary of state. One of the more remarkable business stories in American history, the Green Bay Packers organization has been kept viable by its shareholders — its unselfish fans. Even more incredible, the Packers have survived during the current era, permeated by free agency and the NFL salary cap. Fans have supported the team financially through five stock sales: 1923, 1935, 1950, 1997 and 2011. The Green Bay Packers’ fifth stock offering, which ended Feb. 29, 2012, was a tremendous success with the organization adding more than 250,000 new shareholders. For the first time in a Packers stock offering, international sales in Canada were issued for a short time and accounted for approximately 2,000 shares. While exact totals are not available at this time, more than 268,000 shares were sold during the offering that began Dec. 6, 2011. Prior to the 2011 sale, a total of 4,750,937 shares were owned by 112,158 stockholders. All proceeds from the most recent offering are going toward the expansion of Lambeau Field, a $143 million project that includes approximately 6,700 seats, new HD video boards, a new sound system and two new gates. The new sound system was in place for the 2011 season, the new video boards and one gate were launched in 2012 and the new seats and second gate will debut for the 2013 season. To protect against someone taking control of the team, the articles of incorporation prohibit any person from owning more than 200,000 shares. The corporation is governed by a board of directors and a seven member executive committee. Shareholders do not receive any dividend on the initial investment. The shares were $250 each
  4. Bringing pitchforks and flares. I'll be standing by the door mate. Take what you need would a noose be taking it too far for the fan forum?
  5. I'm more angry about this loss than the one at Wellington a few weeks ago
  6. 4 shots on goal for the entire game and im pretty sure most of them were in the first half but once again we blow a lead deep into the game
  7. yeah found that out the hard way, missed the booking by 10 minutes and they are being c**ts and not doing the price beat for me to head up on sat
  8. So im still trying to book flights, any one got some cheaps ones?
  9. Why is Hoffman not in this team, This isnt a World XI its the La Liga XI
  10. Just saw this in my email Own the experience’ match Our next home game against Adelaide United on Friday 18 January will see members own the experience of our Match Day on a number of fronts. Fans will be able to play a significant part in the evening’s entertainment and get to the heart of the Club’s activities, engaging with their fellow supporters as we look to continue our good form in the team's last Friday night match under lights at home. Club Song Our supporter groups have initiated a club song which we would like to trial run for this match. ‘So happy together’ by the Turtles will be played after the players walk out on to the pitch just before kick-off. Played over the loud speaker and with the lyrics being relayed on the big screen, we want the whole stadium to sing the song as one, from every side of the stadium. This is a great opportunity for all fans to get involved and rev the players up from the sidelines. Once we’ve trialled the song, we’ll take feedback from the members post-match and see whether they want to continue with the concept. A full list of lyrics is available here to get yourself prepared in the meantime! Blogger Outreach Day We’re rewarding Melbourne Heart Foundation members of the club with the chance to report on the full match-day experience from behind the scenes on a typical game day. We’re inviting five foundation members to immerse themselves in club activity from start to finish and blog on the experience. They will get a tour of the stadium, the chance to interview certain staff, sit on the sideline and report on the game, as well as getting amazing access to the post-match press conference. If interested, please email membership@melbourneheartfc.com.au stating in 50 words or less why you should be rewarded with the chance to blog on the experience. We will announce the winners at the beginning of next week. Five a side on the famous AAMI Park We will also be hosting a member’s 5-a-side match at half time in front of the Yarraside end, allowing members to showcase their skills. Entries to this once in a lifetime experience will be put in to a hat and winners drawn out and announced on match day. Again, email us at membership@melbourneheartfc.com.au to put your hat in the ring! Fans Man of the match Fans will be able to select their man of the match from the Adelaide game by taking part in a Facebook poll at the end of the match. Perceived top players will be selected and the fans choice will be announced by a member on the ground at the end of the match. this could be interesting
  11. He did it during the Derby and the FFA said nothing about it, so it would be fine. Kaka has shown a shirt saying the same thing many times, if im not mistaken
  12. He lifted it up at the Derby when he scored also and had that shirt underneath. I applaude him for showing something like that on the field. I am religious but i hate it when some others try and force religion onto others who may not want it forced upon them but something like that doesnt hurt anyone IMO and it gets people talking.
  13. I say he should be able to express it
  14. TBH i don't get why he would move after signing for Stoke in the last transfer window, wouldnt you want to stay for at least a year then move not just 5 months?
  15. I'm not sure about the hands crossed but i know under his shirt it said 'I Believe in Jesus' think the hands crossed may have been finally breaking the shackles of not scoring as much or something along those lines
  16. I think for them it is about justifying the money spent on opening one outlet after the game and the sales they would get. Even if they sell one jersey, im sure that would be enough to cover the wage or at least 1 staff member there for an hour
  17. Best age to go and have fun away from the parents and almost everything you do there will be legal
  18. Ive heard the owner loves Balotelli, and i hope they dont get rid of him coz its always great to know that there is always a person more dumber than me out there in the world and it will often be him. It also gives me a good laugh when i am bored
  19. Great effort by the boys today to hold on especially after Williams got sent off. Still questioning some of the ref's decisions during the last 15 minutes. I know Fred had surgery during the off season, that might be the reason he is still struggling a bit Why does JA have Hoffman on the bench and putting him on with about 30 minutes to go, your asking for it when you play him for that long. I would put Bolton on before Hoffman Yarraside great to see the passion from everyone in the last 10 minutes with everyone joining in on the same chant and not having two different ones going at once, hopefully we can keep it up for the whole 90. Also great to meet some people at and before the game too
  20. My wife just caught me blow drying my penis and asked me what I was doing. Apparently 'heating your dinner' was the wrong answer.
  21. A man was drinking at a bar when he turned to the barmaid and said "you remind me of my little toe" "is that because I'm small and cute" she said "No, its because I will probably bang you on the coffee table later tonight when I'm pissed."
  22. Went to our office Christmas party last night. They played 'the twist' so I twisted, then they played 'jump' so I jumped, then they played 'come on Eileen'............I was asked to leave shortly after that.
  23. Hopefully we can get some wins on the board in this homestand
