  1. For me, I stopped paying attention to new music in roughly 2005 and have subsequently been living in a time warp. After Tesla posted a Meek Mill track I quite liked in the 'what you are listening to now thread' I have decided to expand my hip hop horizons. After searching the net for new hip hop that appeals to me I have discovered something disturbing. I fear that I might now have shit taste in music!! You see, I am fucking loving Lil Wayne's My Homies Still Its crazy!!
  2. Only just found out this existed. Fark!
  3. OK, I am going to bed. Night...
  4. If I can be bothered I will upload my Big L remix too
  5. Totally Jelly. Uploading new beats. See you in the Hip hop thread soon
  6. Fucking hell. This guy is seriously good. Like a combo of Black Milk and Kanye
  7. Just listened to a few other tunes by this guy and found this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp2bGBW0iuU&feature=related If you sample the Fugees, (particularly 'ready or not') you are making quite a big statement. Who is this cat?
  8. A black guy juggling a football through Camden markets. I dont know if I could get any more 90s right now!
  9. I like your first line, but much prefer FB's last line
  10. Man, I dont know if its because I have had two gins and several beers but this shit is sick!
  11. FB, as I have said numerous times before this chant/song has got to be one of my all time favorites.
  12. Just made me spit my beer on the screen.
  13. The sausage roll version has the old English style silliness (pineapple head, celery celery, etc) that may not be appreciated by everyone
  14. As the one who came up with the sausage roll version I would prob not recommend singing this tomorrow night.
  15. I like it. Its funny and has good flow, but implies he is a hog, so prob not the most encouraging
  16. Sorry mate. I was on my phone, so all I could give was a "like" In terms of more in depth feedback the only thing I would change is the line "I can hear the sounds of the fans" but I cant think of anything better. In the original song the opening line has 9 syllables which has a better flow (Make us sing as only you know how has 9- flows really well) Other than that small issue, fantastic work as always

Regards, David. From: Jane Gilles Date: Thursday 9 Oct 2008 12.14pm To: David Thorne Subject: Re: Re: Re: Re: Overdue account Attached <spider.gif> From: David Thorne Date: Friday 10 Oct 2008 09.22am To: Jane Gilles Subject: Whose spider is that? Dear Jane, Are you sure this drawing of a spider is the one I sent you? This spider only has seven legs and I do not feel I would have made such an elementary mistake when I drew it. Regards, David. From: Jane Gilles Date: Friday 10 Oct 2008 11.03am To: David Thorne Subject: Re: Whose spider is that? Dear David, Yes it is the same drawing. I copied and pasted it from the email you sent me on the 8th. David your account is still overdue by the amount of $233.95. Please make this payment as soon as possible. Yours sincerely, Jane Gilles From: David Thorne Date: Friday 10 Oct 2008 11.05am To: Jane Gilles Subject: Automated Out of Office Response Thankyou for contacting me. I am currently away on leave, traveling through time and will be returning last week. Regards, David. From: David Thorne Date: Friday 10 Oct 2008 11.08am To: Jane Gilles Subject: Re: Re: Whose spider is that? Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. I realise with hindsight that it is possible you rejected the drawing of a spider due to this obvious limb ommission but did not point it out in an effort to avoid hurting my feelings. As such, I am sending you a revised drawing with the correct number of legs as full payment for any amount outstanding. I trust this will bring the matter to a conclusion. Regards, David. From: Jane Gilles Date: Monday 13 Oct 2008 2.51pm To: David Thorne Subject: Re: Re: Re: Whose spider is that? Dear David, As I have stated, we do not accept drawings in lei of money for accounts outstanding. We accept cheque, bank cheque, money order or cash. Please make a payment this week to avoid incurring any additional fees. Yours sincerely, Jane Gilles From: David Thorne Date: Monday 13 Oct 2008 3.17pm To: Jane Gilles Subject: Re: Re: Re: Re: Whose spider is that? I understand and will definitely make a payment this week if I remember. As you have not accepted my second drawing as payment, please return the drawing to me as soon as possible. It was silly of me to assume I could provide you with something of completely no value whatsoever, waste your time and then attach such a large amount to it. Regards, David. 18. Thought I would give this thread a bit of a bump
  19. This is our town. Why are you still here (for derbys) Best i can come up with
  20. Better than changing your name to "Whiskers" I suppose...
  21. Just been reading up on Snoop Dogg Lion's new take on life... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/music-news/9442786/Snoop-Dogg-reincarnates-into-Snoop-Lion.html Produced by Diplo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOPpeYeuLGQ Looks like all that weed has finally taken its toll
  22. I do agree with what you are saying FB. He could have been a bit more tactful but at the end of the day, is it really for him to worry about? People wanted to know why he didnt go to the A-League and he told them. Because its a step down, which it is. Instead of people getting upset at players "not giving back to the local game" (as though the A-League had anything what so ever to do with his career being what it is today), why are we not getting upset about the state of our league and asking our administrators why we have never been able to keep our best players here? What can we do to change this? Can we actually do anything to change this? All he did was give us a reality check. And judging by some of the comments floating about the internet, its a reality check we need. Enough kid gloves.
