That first half was really good, Tadic, Garcia, fantastic as always. Colosimo blegh. If this was last year I think we would have lost. I have a feeling that we are on the right track, but we just need to start getting decent results and learn how to keep a clean sheet. Although my good deed for the day was showing a German tourist where Aami Park was, he found out about us online and went to check it out haha!

He has such a massive drawing power it would be amazing. I have a few friends who are really AFL people and don't like soccer who would be interested in going to a Heart game if Beckham was playing.

I am quite happy with this deal. It is about time the A-League was shown on FTA, and I think it will be a great way to draw new people in who cannot afford Foxtel .

1. I was a big fan (and still am) of Green Gully in the VPL, I even went to the 2010 VPL Grand Final when we won 3-0 against Richmond, good times. I was never really a big fan of the A-League really, but being originally from Perth I had a soft spot for the Glory, I wasn't a big fan or anything, just a passing interest. 2. What actually caught my eye at first were the colours Red and White, and our away kit. I love South Melbourne's (VFL) old jumper with the red sash on white, so I was interested in the Heart. I went to my first game last year (that infuriating 1-1 draw against Sydney) and just kept going back. 3. I hated them then, and I still hate them now. I was only around 10 years old when the A-League was in it's first season, and even then I thought that they were all twats.

I wholeheartedly support this .

I just have a completely irrational hatred for West Sydney. Is what I would have said before the game on Friday. I believe it is quite rational now haha! Watching on tv and hearing the commentators froth over everything they did, and the way they pumped up the RBB annoyed me too. Makes it very hard to like them.

So pumped after that! Yarraside was amazing, and the way everybody stuck it to the Vucktree fans. Brilliant! It was my little brothers first Heart game and he loved it! Oh and so many broken chairs haha!

The idea in that Geelong City bid was good in the sense that it could of been marketed well to the people of Geelong. What I mean is that retaining that consistency with the AFL team in terms of blue and white hoops (maybe royal blue like QPR, because Vucktree have navy and white) and forming some kind of partnership with the Cats would have been good. A mate of mine (Cats supporter) said he would have jumped onto a Geelong team if that bid was successful because of the similarities with the Cats. It also doesn't help that it got supported by well known guys like Bill Brownless (whether you like him or not). I do not think it will happen, it may be a bit late for it, but you never know. Although with all that being said, Canberra should be the next place to get an A-League team.
