Firstly, a massive thumbs up to the Melburnians for all their fantastic work game day and chants. The stadium is becoming very loud and it is only a matter of time until our end will be full week in week out if we keep the noise at this level. I thought the game on Saturday against Western Sydney Wanderers was a fantastic example of the noise we can generate when we are winning, not only as a terrace, but as an entire supporter group. I feel as though the "stand up if you love city" chant worked amazingly around the ground and carried beyond the terrace side and even started to hit the wings. Personally, I feel if we do this toward the end of each game on a weekly basis it will eventually travel around the entire stadium causing everyone to stand up which would send a massive message to the team that we all support them and are behind them. Also, in addition to that chant, after it has been going for a minute or two, we should lead on with the "We are Melbourne... and we will be..." chant as it seems to be most well understood by everyone in the ground. I think that if we can do this on a weekly basis numbers and noise grow ultimately giving the boys one final pump up toward the end of matches. Congratulations to all the fans for the atmosphere over the past few weeks. We are definitely building toward something special, something big and something unstoppable. COME ON CITY! "stand up if you love city" is great but we should not leave it there. It would be great that we can follow it up with another chant and the "We are Melbourne... and we will be..." chant sounds like a good one.
