  1. Would think Paul Reid will have to come in for Thompson. We've barely got a match squad, what with injuries and three gone to the Olyroos.

    Hey would only come in playing of the bench, far from match fitness. Srhoj will come in and start this one.

    There is still enough talent in the squad:

    Bolton, Mattei, Roganovic, Marrone, Hamill, Colosimo, Good, Worm, Sarkies, Srhoj, Reid, Zahra, Ibrahim, Germano, Terra, Babalj, Maycon, Williams.

    With a couple of the yoof lads in contention, namely, Goodwin, Gronewald and Jeremy Walker.

    Being a derby, likely line up is:

    Bolton;

    Marrone, Hamill, Colosimo, Good;

    Sarkies, Srhoj, Germano;

    Terra/Williams, Babalj, Terra/Worm

  3. Should be changed to "from Para Hills Knights Soccer Club", considering he is from Adelaide and all...

    They are actually a very famous club with some huge talent produced there, including our very own Michael Marrone.

  4. Big news this morning out of the UK!

    Reports Andy Carroll has been offered to Newcastle and Man City, as a straight swap for Demba Ba and to the other as a make weight for Tevez.

    It has also been revealed that Demba Ba has a £7m release clause.

  5. ATTN: JVS!

  6. Well, that definitely won't happen...

    The club are going with the SAME 2 kits as the past 2 seasons with only minor alterations, and this idea really hasn't been sitting well with me.

    We are also with ISC for one more season, goteam.jpeg

    What the fuck is wrong with the board members? Why the fuck would you keep the same 2 kits for 4 seasons? FFS!

    There were hundreds of entries to the 3rd kit comp, as well as hundreds of other options.

    How can the expect to make money selling the same 2 kits over 4 years? Especially when you only have a base support group of 6k...

    Clubs in Europe, and around the world usually keep a home kit for 2 seasons and then have a variation on their away and 3rd/alternate kit EVERY season, and for obvious reasons - which even an idiot would comprehend. Many of these clubs have a global reach, too!

    Everyone be sure to hold out for the 2013-14 end of season sale, where the 10,000 left over kits will be flying out the door at 80% off...

  7. This guy is amazing. If he could just learn to shoot he'd be hot propert overseas. His composure (except for in front of goal) and ball control is epic. Fantastic career move into left back! Fuck off Heffernan.

  8. In before Hendo: Gosford scum, etc.

    JVS's comments are interesting, It makes me feel more and more confident he will sign on. (Y)

    He said: “Andrew is a ‘keeper with a very promising future ahead of him. He is physically strong, agile and technically very good on the ball, making him well suited to our style of football.

    “With the right approach to his training and development, Andrew has the potential to develop into an elite goalkeeper and future international.

    “We are building a youthful squad for the now and for the long term, and I think Andrew fits into the Club’s philosophy very nicely.
