Western toppled Victory today. So we can potentially have an all Melbourne grand final just not the one we expected.

The possession is good but it's not how you win matches. You have to put the ball in the net. We need to be sharper up front.

City have done well but I wish there was more consistency and a killer finish to put teams away.

The cream on top is that by City winning tonight, a certain other team from an unknown location somewhere in rural Victoria (No not Western, at least we have a rough idea which area they represent) lost its chance to get the Plate.

Our one saving grace is that if both victory and Western united lose or draw we get the plate anyway. Seeing as victory play Sydney in Sydney and Wu play Adelaide in Adelaide that's an entirely possible outcome.
The victory game is on Saturday. Assuming victory lose or draw the Adelaide game on Sunday will be much watch TV for all of us.
