Soon to come true. Everyday it seems that the SPL's demise is creeping closer and closer, with both Sky and Espn looking to severely reduce their respective deals with the SPL and SFL.

Hopefully Brodie will have a role to play next season, he is one of the more well travelled players of the youth team and probably the First Team, playing for the Celtic Youth Team for a few years and has had trials at a few EPL clubs if I recall correctly (I remember seeing him in an Everton jumper at there training ground). He is exceptional on the ball, has a good shot and more importantly he can take freekicks. His only downfall is he pretty short, but isn't easily pushed off the ball or bullied. Elevate ZW/KK/BP ffs

Sky have basically said they will be dropping the deal without 4 OF games during the season. Add the fact that clubs basically have no fans showing up (Bar Celtic and maybe Aberdeen and Hearts), add that clubs do rely not heavily but do rely on nevertheless OF travelling 4-5 times a season to boost cash revenue and add the fact that 4 SPL clubs are basically on the verge of Administration. That equals a few clubs going into admin or on the verge for the next few seasons. Despite it being very well transparent that fans from other clubs don't want us back, more than 40% will not show up to all game as prices are ridiculously priced and they are plastics. Time to kick back in Div.3 with the mighty Berwick Rovers.

. I agree. No spl club will allow rangers back in, which is fair enough. But atleast they do know that this will be their demise. Without rangers espn will give a reduced deal for tv rights this season, which spl clubs almost base most their finances on, the only other consistent cash stream was gaining home revenue from Celtic and rangers. Half of that will go. The other only ways are to reduce wages to the peasant wages players are aready getting, Europe (not even a good example, Motherwell has a champions league qualifier and still have to slash wage bill by 200k) -edit- pathetic typing on the phone.

Red Star's average attendance is closer to 17k, playing in a 50k+ stadium each week and Babalj would be competing for titles in Serbia. He will obviously move on from there but Red Star would be a great stepping stone into a better league. It would mean better pay, he is already accustomed to the language and culture etc.. It is the perfect move for him.

Patience is virtue at this stage, there is no point in jumping to conclusions that Didiluca does no have some signings set up or even looking down that avenue. Diligence in this particularly area will help us pick up the right players instead of more Maycons.
