Much smaller crowds involved. 30% at the MCG is still twice the people to track and trace compared to 50% at AAMI. That'll be the logic folks. It's all about managing risk.

Obviously good enough for the AFL, who are sending Syd teams to, of all places, Melbourne. Who would have thought.

Not sure what to think yet. I'll see what the rest of the gang thinks. I've just been to Woolworths in Highett and there's no contact tracing provision there, either by QR or paper. Neither was there in Southland two days ago.

Look after yourself mate, looks like there’s a bit going on your area.

Dont y'all have any sense of tradition :o

Anyways i love SHT, always have. One of the few remaining things that have carried forward from the Heart days.

Yep, don’t mind it myself. Brings smile when if I hear it in the off season. At least we didn’t use a sentimental Sam Cooke song, which I consider to be unoriginal as it’s ripping off others(the style rather than the song itself).

No, he's not doing that, simply pointing out that tolerating what might turn out to be the thin end of a nasty wedge is not the way to go. Although I watched non-league football for the most part, I too saw what happened to English football as per @fensaddler and I don't want our football to go anywhere near what that was like.

I was at the game (Bay 19) and to me Active sounded fine. MrsJW said it was one of our best-ever matches. Crowds will build when we win more consistently and start to resonate with the Melbourne public, which we haven't done so far. We certainly won't attract bigger crowds using flares.

Yep, agree JW. Have sat in 15 for quite a few years(I'm a bit old, and my boys a bit young for active), I thought it sounded good last night(loved that chant about going to school tomorrow after the incident before halftime!). To those there having a crack every home game, thanks, and we hope your back next season. Cheers.

Yeah sure was interesting. Divide made obvious by lack of crowd numbers.

Still hats off to the terrace. Entertaining and relevant singing whilst highlighting the current disharmony and lack of cohesion amongst supporters and the club. Its ugly but important to highlight. For too long has his club suffered mediocrity whilst its supporters stick through. The papers reporting the booing off is important too. I hope the players felt it, and Joyce acknowledged it in his Pep talk.

Yeah well done with the cricket chant btw, summed up the first half nicely.

One thing I noticed last season and it was very obvious on Friday is how corporate support for the L2 Western Wing corporate "boxes" has declined.

Saw my first Heart game in S1 from a box on the west side(the beginning of the 'joyride' for me). Back in those days his was leased through the Storm, but the owner had access to all events, including concerts.

Huddersfield vs Southampton is the sbs game this Saturday night, starts at midnight

Will be good to watch mooy on a TV screen and not my phone

I mirror it from an iPhone onto my Gen 2 Apple TV, works pretty well.

I'm mates with Michael Petrillo's nephew who does keeper sessions with Bouzanis. Told me today Bouzanis abused a fan after the match in front of the the man's son and Bouzanis is a dead man walking. He agreed Bouzanis is an egotistical shitcunt and deserves the send. Let's bring in a quality keeper who has full command of the area and a huge and confident presence on the field.

Saw it mentioned on F'book briefly last night, before it was removed. Sounds like there is something in it.
