I completely agree that Walker should be playing in the 1st team. He is actually a RB and is a smart and hard working player. And he's young and still has improving to do. Whereas Hoffman isn't even usually a defender and it shows. He gets caught out of position a lot, his passes down the line usually go out and if he's under pressure he ALWAYS passes backwards. He doesn't have the skills to get past players down the wing. His turnovers far outweigh his interceptions. Aren't there stats that show a player's productivity? i.e. effective passes vs ineffective passes, turnovers, steals etc
I get so frustrated watching Hoff as he is a duck out of water and really isn't up to the standard of A-League, where as Walker already is and will still get better!!
I can just see Walker being yet another talented youngster that we let go to another club aka Craig Goodwin, Adrian Zahra....
