  1. So do you all believe now ? Haven't posted for awhile, but as you can now see the CFG management don't say anything until they have something to say! As many have pointed out on here in the past, me included. I have in the past been gently lambasted on this forum for saying that your club will be huge and that you will influence and effect soccer in the pan pacific area, but I think you can see that the Sheik didn't buy you just for fun, MCFC has a huge part to play in the CFG group .
  2. Zeven the CFG are not just going to walk away because in the short term they may not make a profit , Heart are a long term project just like all the other parts of the CFG .
  3. See whats happens guys you moan about colours and names etc, so CFG just buys into another club in your part of the world !!!! On!y joking guys!
  4. mind you if they worked part time in a local furniture store might get a bit of discount on one !!
  5. Falastur sorry the city guys wont be able to knock up a trophy cabinet either out of a bit of chipboard lol!!!!!!
  6. Silva 10 well done for geting the colours, name change, and history into another thread!!!!
  7. Huzie no way will any city youngsters be working in chip shops par time!!e Any youngsters coming over will already be driving top of the range BMWs and probably one or two of them have Audi R8s lined up ,i know about salatry caps and all the other monetary limits in the A league but the type of player coming your way is already used to a weekly salary somewhere between 2 to 4 thousand a week and thats not because its city paying bigger wages than other premier league clubs, but that figure is probably about average for a 18/19 year old proffesional footballer at a premier league club who is possibly a year away from a couple of outings in the first team or, going out on loan to a championship team, or european side . The days of trainee footballers cleaning boots and sweeping the stadium clean on a monday morning are long gone.. These guys will have enough money to throw at the local night club,s and the local girls, and they wont have to say do you want vinegar on your chips either! I do understand that any young guys with the Heart team are probablly still in some form of education, and do have to have part time jobs to make a living, But Heart won the lottery when the sheik came to town ,and you are going to be operating on a whole new level from now on I know a few guys on this forum laugh at that idea and have told me so on here but it is true !
  8. Huzie i cant tell if you are being serious when you say that part time jobs are being lined up for any City youngsters that might come across, you are saying that tongue in cheek are you not? Any Player heading your way from City is a full time proffesional footballer the only thing they will be working on, apart from football will be the local female talent !!!!
  9. jestr you probalbly will be in your colours, but if not, and the scenario is the same how many people would still be worried about colours and name? Not many i reckon.
  10. Falastur just intrgued by everyones adamant stance thats all. It will be interesting to see what peoples views are when Melbourne City are top of the league playing sublime football in a top stadium with fantastic training facilities how many people will be yearning for the Heart days of 2000-2014? just saying!
  11. so caddy you accused me of an insipid and weak approach nothing worth fighting for pathetic. BUT three posts later you are willing to compromise on the name ?????? so fans would except chang then ?
  12. Caddy you have been bought though! no doubt CFG will listen to the supporters, i personally think the colours are going to stay the same, but you cannot deny that if you were building a global company you would want a standard colour scheme and name that was associated with othe members of the group .
  13. cos nothing comes for free blaguttman ,if you were a multi millionare thats assuming your not! then you are going to want somrthing in return and in this case it seems it could possibly be colours and name to fit the club with the global footballing group that you are building .
  14. Silva10 if i supported a team that was four years old, i would want that team to grow and realise its potential and if i saw A Sheik Mansour type riding over the sand dune on a camel who was able to release that potential i would welcome him into the club. But as a supporter i would have to except that to get that potential fulfilled then i will probably have to give something up, and in this case it looks like it is possibly colours and name but who knows ? The club has that chance to fulfill its potential and if it did, how many fans would, in all honesty really worry about the colours and the name ?
  15. Belaguttman hey its all about opinions if we all saw the world the same way it would be a boring world !! we have the same owners, one thing is for sure you have exciting times ahead whatever colour you play in or whatever you get called, stick with it because its about to get good!
