My last post stated there were some ungrateful bastards here.I admit that was a little strong but banners and insulting chants won`t go down well.Remember our owners will be watching what`s going on here and on any other forums relating to Heart.They will take into account all your feelings.They may well think,as I do, that there are a few ungrateful sods here. For all of you who are going to jump down my throat and call me a twat,or whatever, please,please have another look at our website. Take a look at all the changes that have happened to the club.You cannot be anything other than impressed by our owners. If you like to watch good football, want to be part of a successful,attractive footballing team then leave the owners to it. They will make decisions based on what you guys believe and what they believe to be the best for Heart, If that means a name change and colours change they will do it regardless.They will bring success of that I have no doubt whatsoever. Have faith in them, don`t insult them or your man city brothers. For you rag fans here, yes, carry on and call me whatever you like but City are THE biggest club in Manchester.We will be the biggest club in Europe before too long.LIve with it!

Please don`t apologise on my behalf! Why would I apologise for a comment on an open forum. This is an opinion I believe I have the right to make. Nobody has to agree with it but nobody has to apologise for me either. Who do you support anyway? Notice you are shown as from Herts or is that heart?

Seems to me as a MCFC fan from the other side of the World, there are some ungrateful bastards here! From what I have read,not just here, the Heart were more or less bankrupt and could easily have been wound up this year. You have had nothing to shout about judging by the teams results, and at the end of the day we don`t support our teams to fail! You have been given the opportunity to climb the league, to compete with the best, to bring in some silver to your(at the moment)non existent trophy room. You go on about the history of the club and that you should keep your colours and your name? Your club has no history.You have supported them yes, you have great memories of being with the club since the start, but it still has no history, or at least nothing to be proud of. I know it`s off the rail but what if Coke decided to save your local RolaCola factory? You think they`d want to keep the name, the bottle,the motif? Not a chance. MCFC is the brand, blue is the colour, get used to it because if the owners say that`s how it is going to be, then that`s how it`s going to be! You may think there is a need to contact the club with your feelings but I have to tell you now that there is someone on this site and any other Heart forums, working on behalf of the owners, looking at what people have to say.They will be aware that there are some who don`t like the idea of name or colour changes. These people are not stupid. Making any kind of approach to the clubs owners complaining about colours and name, threatening to stop attending matches or anything else you think will help you keep the name could lead to them pulling out. $5,000,000 or whatever it was they paid is a drop in the ocean to them. They could easily decide to walk away leaving you with nothing. Be very careful what you wish for.

As a City fan since 1968 I remember all the bad times before our new owners came to our rescue. We were the laughing stock of Manchester, the whipping boys for everyone in every league we played in. Our history was 100+years and I loved my club more than anything.It was complete and utter devotion to all things City. The owners did make some changes to the club...... They changed the badge, some fans whinged like fuck! They got rid of our famous curried pies and gave us French cuisine! They gave us new players... They gave us hope! They gave us respect from some of the other premier clubs. They gave us the FA cup. They gave us the League title! They gave us Aguero,Silva,Toure,Negredo...... They gave us a bright future! I remember the day it all happened, I remember the chat on our forums.I remember people going on about our 100 year history.... Fuck history, give me any of the above listed and I`d be happy. You should be too.Your history starts here and now! In four year from now your history will have started this week. Your history will remember the days before and after your new owners came to you. You`ll not bother about the changes they make, regardless of how it may appear now. Believe me when I say change is good! Believe me when I say change is for the best! Believe me when I say change in shirts or name will not change how you feel about your club, not when you`re winning titles, trophies and watching the best players in the league!

Our owners are making a brand based on man city.The major part of that brand is the name,City, and the colours. I`ll be very surprised if both name and colours don`t change I`m afraid. Guys, I`m a Man city fan from England. I can assure you all that this buy out will be the best thing that has ever happened to my new found, newly adopted Melbourne Heart! The owners have transformed our club from a mediocre,struggling premier league team into Champions,FA cup winners and record goal scoring team this year and the only club left in all 4 trophies. They have completely updated the infrastructure at the club, spent millions in the local community,bought and upgraded the stadium and the plans for the future are unbelievable. They have almost finished a small stadium for our elite development squad and ladies team games.They have built a training facility that id deemed the bst in Europe including medical facilties.They are in the process of building a college for both City trainees and for the local community. They have also spent money on the tram system that takes fans straight to the ground and the best thing is....the list of improvements go on and on! The owners have also invested in the USA MLS buying the New York City club.They are truly going to be the biggest and best in the World!
