  1. Agree with Rasa, JVS didn't have full strength squad but if he was any good should have galvanised the youth. Regardless of not having the first 11 to play with JVS has enough resources to make us l a winning team however he is incapable of playing a team of players to its strength and would rather wait until his first 11 are fit. Maybe we have all looked at this the wrong way. Perhaps the marquee players know pretty quickly how poor JVS Is and feign injury rather than front up to a dissapointing and getting more frustrated home crowd!!!!
  2. With JVS we are so predictable and one dimensional. He is unable to change the teams tactics during the game and absolutely out of his depth as a coach.
  3. Under JA we have gone backwards whilst rest of league have moved on. It's embarrassing how far we are now behind even Wellington. Our standard of play has dropped beyond that of the minimum required, no development and no improvement in the last two seasons.. It is also blatantly obvious that we are not able to improve our current playing group with JA & HF at the reigns. We want long term improvement not a knee jerk reaction to temporarily get results without value adding to coaching staff. Hard ask but one that the board have to make this side of Christmas before we all walk out....................be brave MH and give us back some belief and reaffirm your commitment to your old philosophy of youth, community and attractive football.
  4. Only because we lost Marrone, Aziz and Goodwin. Our full backs always bombed forward now they are almost dormant!
  5. Would it be seen as a move forward or backward? Majority of fans would probably expect and accept bigger name to stabilize ship, in the ilk of Miron? But I agree make a bold statement and go with Papas, re-affirm community and youth approach with attacking attractive football. Would rather that than accept current feeling of slow death by way of bleeding by internal hemorrhage.
  6. Yeah agree, he seems to be a man waiting to prove himself at a higher level, has a vision and philosophy that made him coach of the year after only one full season in VPL. Not sure it would cost much to get him out of India and has great knowledge of local game and youngsters ripe for the jump into the A-League i.e Goodwin.
  7. Papas did raise mention before JA was appointed, agree that he has qualities that we need for long term, have we (club & supporters alike) got patience after the last 18 months debacle. Happy to cease thread, can you suggest which one to switch to?
  8. Yes not made many comments in last few years and obviously a troll!! Thanks guys, but a foundation member who is sick of the slide into mediocrity this team and club has been in since JA has been at the reigns. Over it and want to look forward to a positive fresh start, not sure who will be able to achieve this within our clubs budget whilst trying to re-capture the vision Heart once had for the beautiful game and one that promoted youth.
  9. The majority believe (of which I am one) that it is time for Aloisi to fall on his sword, but who is the person best equipped to replace him? For me I think it would be a perfect fit for Miron Bleiburg - tough talking, no nonsense boss. Likes his teams to play attractive football already experienced in A-League, high achiever with low rated club (perfect fit with Heart). Your thoughts...
  10. Global warming will be a thing of the past......................
  11. Will be there with another two guys, looking for digs in the CBD. Driving up on the Fri and returning Sat. See you at the Commercial:-)
  12. My first post on this site and it is not a good one. How demoralising two weeks before big KO, we have taken a big step backwards as a team. There was 11 strangers on the park today, Tadic had no service, Mate and Williams were observers on wings as the midfield was playing too narrow. There is a big problem at the back, we were exposed against Adelaide (which I gave excuses for) but today the trio (triad) at fault was Collosimo, Gehardt & Bolton. Today they would have looked more at home in a big top wearing red noses, there was no build up from the back at all. A bit of a pointless exercise of pass between the Triad until Gerhardt hoofs it diagonally up the park to the opposition or Bolton lobs straight to the oppositions best midfield player. We were soft all over the park and too easily pushed around. Whats happened to Germano and Kalmar??
