Id rather have him for the year but our visa's are taking so how would they work around that? For me id love for him to be here whether it's a year or 10 games it would be a good coup for the club.

Im all for an FFA cup, im against the Finals after the a-league season but i don't see them going. It's just in our tradition to have the seasons 2 best teams fight for the prize in 1 game, like AFL, NRL, Domestic Cricket it could go on.

As much as i'd prefer no finals, i don't see it happening in Australian sport, it's part of our tradition where the 2 best teams play off to win the ultimate prize. What makes me sad is the fact that whoever finishes 1st gets a rather pointless "premiers trophy" or what ever, i mean We have Premiers who are the mariners atm, and champions who are the roar, yet noone values the premiers, we either need to make a bigger focus on the premiers and make it mean something or scrap the finals, which as i mentioned before wont happen.

I like it everything but the last point, we have to see where our league sits in terms of ranking for ACL, Maybe winner of FFA cup or perhaps team that finishes 3rd goes into an ACL qualifier match against another asian team?

this is where we need the FFA cup, i think the FFA cup will slightly solve this problem. While the a-league is still trying to compete for attendences and ratings we can't afford to compete with AFL/NRL, the season dates and format is fine IMO, however as i mentioned just before FFA Cup during Pre Season will sort of help, more friendlies perhaps, and maybe bring back the pre season cup they used to have?

Don't forget we were supposed to get hleb in that to, what did happen to him in that deal? I think from memory he wanted to Barca but not join inter? Ibra is worth more then 23 surely his was probably the best striker in the serie a, second only to el princepe!

I still think Gray is our answer down back now that Hamill is gone, dont put Gerhardt in CB, Gray could take that role if needed, I'd still like to see another CB signed however, keep our depth going, whether Gray starts or not he is an option down back. Just a question now guys, now that Hamill is on the verge of leaving, will this make Good stay for 1 more season? Or is Good going to leave regardless? We could certainly use him, but surely a place in Newcastle United (however limiated his chances may be) is to good to pass up?

Hmmm you wouldn't think Ibra was only worth 23 but maybe his age is a factor. Maybe because of Silva's price tag the price for Ibra dropped? PSG have an insane team now, will be interesting who AC sign now, linked with Dzeko and Tevez.

From what I've read Ibra is all but gone, price im not sure on though, but who cares about Silva and Ibra its AC, Lavezzi was linked with us for a while so that is a shame though. Forza Inter

Id rather Thompson not play CB, he is at his best when in Midfield, Gray in CB could do the job, if Good stays we just need 1 more CB, if Good leaves aswell we need 2 its that simple.

3 at the back wouldn't suit the heart, tried in Derby #5 for the first 30 and went 1-0 down aswell as conceded a penalty, went back to 4-3-3 (i think it was, correct me if im wrong) and within 10 minutes we were 2-1 up, 3 at the back wouldnt work.

I sense we are becoming the West Ham United of Australian football (i am a hammers fan, what could of been...) Are we to just be a feeder club for others? We need to keep these young players, by all means it doesn't mean that they play their careers as Melbourne Heart, but at least we get more than 1 or 2 seasons before selling off, and selling off without replacements.
