No Use For A Name (NUFAN)
Nice 90's punk reference there.

Like Melbourne Victory?

Grella's Gringos

Probably best to focus on new chants than to alter old ones.
-
I genuinely did not know this. I just thought the difference between Nederlands and Holland was that one was dutch and one was english like Deutschland and Germany.
-
Probably can't use it, but Old Melburnians
This isnt the worst suggestion, except for the established local football clubs.

Why is this thread even still open?
And why isn't the thread discussing the new active group given the prominence it needs by being made a sticky?
Good point.

I'm coming up from Warrnambool for this as I feel this is fundamentally important for the club and fans. I'm even going to brave the white line fever and drive home again afterwards. This is our chance to get involved in the new regime and as a foundation member of Heart, and a Yarraside regular we owe it to those who paved the way to get involved and continue their legacy. I'm disappointed that Yarraside is over and wish it was different, but we cannot dwell on the past or the opposition supporters will win. I'm willing to do my part even though I live almost 300ks away, and I'm looking forward to the new era to begin.
Having said that is like to thank Yarraside for everything they have done for us and their legacy shall not die if I can do/say something about it. Much respect to Y-Side... you will be missed terribly.
Perfect attitude AJ! I'll try and make it on Monday to offer any advice i can, if its wanted.

Quick question. Are the two main capos that both took charge throughout the season (don't know their names) apart of the core group?
They are both senior members and support the decision made. But there is nothing stopping them from joining the new active group if they wish.

So... Now what?
So now FFA will organise a plastic cheer squad with choreographed moves and approved chants
Only if you let them.

So will the facebook page still be up? and just have a link to KSK's and BH's photo blog for the history of those 5 years in the about/descriptive section?
Save it in your bookmarks:

The World Cup is popular due to our strong multi-culturalism. So I think football is quietly popular by default, just overshadowed in the media by other sports.

Not run by the club.
Run by MHFC Index, who've been around for years providing Heart news, etc.
Yeah definitely not run by the club.
Probably just some bitter Heart supporters who want some attention.
-
I didnt think mhfcindex had been going for at least a year or 2???

Cancelled my membership direct debit rollover. Going to wait and see how it all pans out closer to the start of the season.

The famous skits are timeless, but most of it is pretty annoying to me. But thats me having grown up with my dad quoting it over and over.
I'm not putting the likes of Fast Forward in the same league as Monty Python, but at the time, Fast Forward was the funniest thing on Australian TV and I looked forward to it each week. Now when I see re-runs of it on Channel 11 I cant believe I used to find that shit funny.
