  1. When the scarves become available again is it possible to post about it on the Yarraside facebook page? I just struggle to get on this forum enough to keep up to date with it
  2. Unfortunately it is difficult enough trying to get people to stand up for corners or direct free-kicks, let alone for no reason other than chanting. Most general admission fans seem to not understand chanting culture in football. Hopefully one day though!
  3. Ok here is what I think. I've only been in Yarraside for the last 5-6 matches of 2011/12 after shifting there from GA. I think that as a terrace what we are doing is fantastic. We are doing extremely well. I have no clue about any of these KGB Rooster Kop etc. but as a whole we seem to do pretty well, and at times fantastically well (Eg: GCU game "We are Melbourne" was fucking awesome). But there are a few things that we do not to work on. The smaller groups inside the terrace seem to be causing a lot of angst, this needs to be sorted out. A few of my mates are North Terrace regulars and commented after the last derby that our clapping is really good and very loud, but at times our singing was far too quiet. Also in my opinion we tend to lose focus on the game a fair bit. Aside from a few issues we are really getting better and a lot stronger! Cannot Wait for 2012/13!
  4. Fantastic player, and a really top bloke! NOBODY beats Bolton from the spot!
  5. I'm Tom, I'm 16 and a Yarraside lad! Been a Heart fan since the beginning and became a member this season. My very first Heart game (and football game) was our 2-1 win over Wellington at AAMI Park. I wasnt in the stands I was one of the ball-boys and got placed right in front of the Yarraside. As soon as they through a flare onto the pitch right next to me I knew that Yarraside was where I had to be! Look for me in the terrace, I'm there every home game with my little brother and my mate (and newly converted victory supporter) dan. Im the skinny pasty kid in the home shirt with O'KEEFE 26 on the back COME ON YOU BOYS IN RED!
  6. will there be any scarves for sale at the wellington game?
  7. Hoping for a big win for the lads! Can't afford to drop points to the sheep-shaggers again!
