Dunno what training he did in Manchester, looks a bit overweight / unfit to me. Very exciting though, don't think we've ever had so much depth up fwd. Perhaps Willo & Brown will play better off the bench & this will put pressure on forwards to perform to keep their spot.

Go back and watch Tando's performance in the semi-final. He went to water under pressure. At least Sorenson and Theo didn't (well at least at Brisbane). Tando is young and will benefit from Sorensen's experience. Keepers mature much later than field players.
Even for a goalkeeper 28 isn't that young.
NO WAY! Tando, Theo & Sorenson are all way too young. I think we need real experience between the posts.

Would be very pleased if Koren left. Melbourne City could use a real marquee, and I reckon Villa showed the important off the pitch benefits a proper marquee could deliver (the club had its biggest non-derby crowds when he was around in Melbourne City's first few home games). I don't even think the club needs a name player like Villa, but just a class player who can produce class moments and game-changing moments (like semi-fit Villa did with 2 goals over 4 games).
Hopefully the rumours are true.

I have a feeling Kennedy is gonna fire up & will be relishing the chance to play in a massive game. He is a proven big game player & can score when it’s needed.
And Germano will be lobbing the ball at his head all night until both his hamstrings snap.
p.s. Might be a bit late notice but since we have the 1st & 2nd tiers at North end could be a good opportunity to drape some signs / flags / streamers etc off the second tier. Anybody onto this?

Yeah i hear probably somewhere between 1/4 - 1/3 will be City.
Main thing is if we can all stick to the North end on all 3 levels to have more chance of making some impact with chants.

Tbh they're right we don't deserve to be there. We've been average all year yet here we are, one win away from the grand final and all the pressure is on them!! I'm loving the fact that they're making excuses already and acting all cocky. They're the ones with something to lose not us. Sure we had a shit season but in this league it comes down to finals. We made the most of our opportunities last week and look where thats put us. So let them bitch and moan about us its just going to make the win a whole lot sweeter!!!

Exactly how I feel, there's no anxiety this week given that we have nothing to lose.
The finals system is admittedly a joke, but beating Victory and making the grand final would be an absolute dream! Wouldn't even care what happens the following week tbh ahaha
We definitely belong in finals.
We fixed up our leaky defence, we have beaten Victory, Sydney, Adelaide & Wellington and qualified for top 6 with 3 games remaining. And at least we didn't lose to the Jets (unlike the other Melbourne team).
Who cares about rounds 26 & 27. They were dead rubbers. With Novillo & Kennedy firing not to mention the form of Kisnorbo, Germano & Mooy we are now just as strong as them & Victory are shitting their pants.
Thats why Kevin MossCat is trying to pump up the plate over the dunny seat.

Have 8 tickets in Category A (in 3 separate transactions, so not all together). Of course, they're in Section 45, Victory end.
Not sure whether Ticketmaster will help me out to refund/reallocate them.
So disappointed with the whole process. I was in there 9 flat and had 6 seats chosen via the map option and then as I went to pay for them, they disabled it.
I nominated for 1 ticket in City members area and got a seat on Level 2, aisle 44 which is not a City area on the map provided.
Anybody else get level 2 tickets around aisle 44? or have Ticketmaster mixed up all supporters?

I’m a very patient person. This time last year I was prepared to wait & see if Aloisi would improve and could not believe the chants against him given he is an Aussie champion and a 1st time coach. . . . and at least JA was passionate & I could understand what he was trying to do.
JVS on the other hand . . . I find his style so sloppy & his decisions poor.
Has everybody forgotten he was also technical director overseeing JA? AND his few wins last year coincided with Engelaar returning. AND he turned his back on us but was happy to come back only after the takeover from CFG.
Van Shit has to go now so a new coach can start planning a re-build for next year.

If any other club in the A-league had the privilege of David Villa come into their team on a stint they would get more out of him than we did. They would probably revolve a whole game plan around him.
Our players shouldn’t be scared that he is going to walk in & take all the glory but instead try get the most out of him to WIN MATCHES.
There is a bad moral / attitude in our club & I’m pointing the finger at JVS. Let’s cut our losses with this dick so he can go spend more time at the salon.
