I was there with my nine year old quietly watching the game. We had beers thrown at us by supporters behind us after the second goal. That, along with a fight in the seats in front of us was enough to scare my son into wanting to go home at half time. I've been to games involving every opposition in the competition, never seen a more disgusting pack of animals than MV. Even their own kids were scared and crying. Fight between who? I didn't see what started it but there was a MV bloke and a guy in a Heart scarf going at it while the MV guys kids was cowering underneath them. Me and the guy beside had to pull them apart to get the kid out.

Have to say that you blokes are a welcoming bunch. I was a bit tentative about bringing my young bloke to the pre-game but from the minute we walked into the pub their were people introducing themselves and having a chat. He even told his mum that there "wasn't that much swearing"! Cheers guys, see you all again next Sunday.

Hi guys, first time poster. I'm taking my young bloke up to this match for our first away game. We go to most home games but we're out of towners so we've never been to a pre-game meet up before. I'm keen to come along & meet a few supporters & wander down to the game with everyone but thought I'd check if it would be an ok for an 8 year old? I wasn't sure if it was just a piss up or if a few of you blokes bring the kids along for a feed & a couple of raspberries. Cheers.
