Troyes was not in trouble! Troyes was recently champion of ligue 2 with Battles. He was replaced by Irles (a good friend of our local mummy EM) because he was not CFG compatible. Irles maintained Troyes in Ligue 1 and was fired by CFG because he was not player friendly and did not perform well for 5 games in a row.
When PK took over, Troyes was 13th and the second best scorer team of ligue 1.
PK on the bench, it’s 35 games, 2 victory… come on!!! I do not consider yesterdays win his as he was not on the bench barking nonsense to players! Without him, they won! Coincidence? Well to begin with, PK Is a shortfall! I’d like to feel for him only if he was recognising that he is a disastrous coach, resigning and going back to his loving family. PK is someone we feel would die for his principles. He would defend the most disgusting performances for the sake that players played according to his tactics. Have a look at his press conferences. Sometimes he makes us doubt whether the guy is not a droid as whatever he says he sees, no one else does! He had absolutely no tactic. Whenever there is a sub, whether we lose or we win, he changes nothing. A lateral would be subbed by a lateral. A center back subbed by a center back. Even if we feel the team can win he needs more attacking power, he would sometime replace the very best player of the day by a 18 years old guy that will bring no added value.
what do bothering with him is that he is happy when the massive majority is pissed with what is going on!-

Yes, he does have deficiencies as a coach, many which have already been spoken about in this thread. The best path as highlighted by ange and Muscat is to always work your way up through the lower leagues and learn all you can.Then, and only then, you should think about going to the big leagues.
PK was not given a sinking ship! He was offered a hell of a phenomenal team with amazing players! When PK arrived, I can easily say that Troyes never had such a strong team in the last 20 years! The boat never was the problem, but the captain… and so he was!

I give you the fact that yes, we are playing with guys freshly out of kindergarten! That pisses us off because on the bench, you have recognised expérience guys! But hell no! PK does not give a crap and still will align the youngest! We surely don’t get it! We can’t understand him!
Yesterday, we got our first win in the last 10 games! Guess what, PK was not on the bench because he was sick. PK out, Troyes wins! I don’t believe this is a coincidence! This guy is a black cat, and until he is here, Troyes will keep sinking!

To answer you guys, it’s hard to say whether PK had a choice when it gets to the recruitment this summer. At first glance, yes. Officially, it’s a different story! The issue we have in Troyes is that everything happening behind the scene is treated as “Top Secret”.. it’s very frustrating. Anyway, we have a good team on the paper! Same as last year! The obvious and visible part is that PK gets the worst out of them! He does not know how to play his talents. We have recruited a few talented guys, he never plays them, not even as jokers at the end of the game. He seriously has trouble to with subs.
Has anyone of you watched a Troyes game recently? Gosh it’s nightmarish and disgusting to watch!!!

According to L’Est-Eclair, our local newspaper, PK will be fired after Saturday’s game… apparently CFG has finally realised he was not the man of the situation!

Oh my god dear friends in Melbourne! What have we done wrong in Troyes to deserve the Kisnorbo, his Mexican army of useless assistants and the drive to hell as we know it these days! This topic is not very active for a while, so I’m not sure whether you have followed PK’s accomplishments… but I’d love to hear your thoughts!

PK replaced Bruno Irles. BI was not loved at all and the football he played was not seducing. His persona never helped, he was arrogant, saying that he was the man of the situation, that players should not be given jam at breakfast… bla-bla-bla. He ended up being hated by the players and the supporters. Yet, he seemed to have a better tactical understanding of football on the pitch. His coaching were useful and he somewhat managed to get the best in some players (and vice versa). He needed to go. His firing was a good and welcomed thing. PK, no matter what is the outcome of the game, he does not make any tactical move. He remains in that stupid 5-2-3 formation giving no consistency to the midfield. He makes poor judgment on subs, if ever he makes a substitution. Indeed, he has some much issues with subs that if ever the rule would allow him to play with less than 11 players on the pitch, he would gladly put 9 of them on!

Hell yeah the food is great in Troyes! It takes me a couple of days only to get 5 kilos easy when I’m back home! Darn the food is good!
PK wise, yep! The honey moon is long gone and now his speeches before/after games are totally inaudible! No one understand how it is possible for him to still be here! I had the chance to speak with an ESTAC legend recently who shared with me how unbelievably ugly the team became. He does not recognise how the club could lose its football in the space of a few months since PK arrived!

Hi, in my opinion, I find The English Premier League a lot better than the French Ligue 1. The football practiced is way more elegant than in France. Referees are letting the game play for most of the times while in France a very little contact is enough to stop the play and give a foul. That leads to unsportsmanlike behaviours.
The EPL is also the richest league in the world due to phenomenal sums of money given to each club with tv rights. That helps small clubs in England to be as rich as the biggest ones in France.
For the personal story, until last month, I was working at The Etihad Stadium, so I was lucky enough to see MCFC play. Such a wonderful football!-

Hi Melbourne City fans! If you have not seen it yet, Troyes has lost at home again this Sunday. It was for us, the very last chance to keep fighting for Ligue 1. After a soaked oatmeal of football served, we can now officially say that we won’t be playing Ligue 1 anymore next season! Sad sad to say the least!

Well well!!! Thanks to all of you dear Aussie friends! I can tell you right now that PK is an enigma to us all!
I can speak for all my fellow Troyes Fans and say that never a Troyes team has played that bad in Ligue 1, ever! There is absolutely no intensity, no aggressive play, no willingness to play the offensive. If I can use a métaphore, our team is like a kid being bullied at all time, who, instead of showing his fists, gets fisted (in every sense of the way…). Our team nowadays is the official carpet of the league! Every team we play can wipe themselves on us! Our play is so stereotypical that any coach with a bit of football sense can use against us to score! Edouard Cissé, former French professional player, and now commentator was saying on Amazon Prime during the last game: “since PK’s arrival, watching Troyes play, is like watching an episode of Colombo (with Peter Falk), at the beginning of the play, you already know how it’s gonna end!”. And at the end, the PK’s Troyes loses again and again!

Hi Melbourne City fans,
I am Jeremy, a lifelong fan of ES Troyes AC. Recently, CFG decided to send PK to coach our team.
The first impressions we had through videos and his charisma, made us feel like he would be the perfect coach. We thought it would be a remake of “Band of Brothers” in the locker with a team United and all going to fight for one another.
If ever you are following our games (and I’m sorry about that), we are the crappiest team in the world! There is no strategy, no technical plan and the team seems to be sooo lost!
With your experience of PK, what do you think is happening? Can it get better?
