1847 or the heartland both worthy, and I know some may think heartland might be cheesy but think about it, real passion and support comes from the heart and who is more passionate about the club than the active supporters

The Heartlands is a beauty, but in saying that I have a little one which takes up most of my time and therefor can't give time to help the new active supporter group meaning what I have to say probably has little relevance even though I own a active membership and have for the last four seasons

I don't understand how fans are begrudged towards the City Group because they make changes that seem to be making "Heart" irrelevant, yet when fans still have opportunity to help the heart legacy live on they are dismissing any mention of the former name (eg. no more yarraside, saying no to the name the heartlands or that heart should not be in the new name)

Not quite. To quote Begiristain as reported on 23rd January: "It's not about the names, it's about the player. We don't need a big name, we need a big player and a big player will develop into a big name....He has to add something more than a name. Commitment with the group and the football in Australia, experience to teach the players and help the coach."
So perhaps a broich type gem....Cause as we know they are floating around everywhere

I'm interested now though, after last night's match, how people are thinking Bresciano vs. Kennedy as their preference for Australian marquee. From what I watched last night, Bresciano looked pretty good. What do others think?
I prefer bresciano however if he is only lasting 60 minutes it makes me a little hesitant about that decision

So my theory is this, regarding the international Marquee, I believe our Marquee is a part of a squad currently playing in the world cup at the moment and therefor the club can't release who it is until the World Cup is over. I still believe we are in a strong spot to obtain Lampard however is there any realistic sneaky outsiders that people have in mind (for instance I'm hoping Drogba)
Or, the idea of playing in the a league for a big name marquee is just not that appealing no matter how much oil money you throw at a player and in this regard the chaps are stumped on who we are going to have selling our new image!

If someone like Lampard or Xavi is on the cards, then I imagine Engelaar will be forgotten about pretty quickly.
Easily the best player we've ever had though, I'd desperately love to keep him.
