  1. Whilst I'll reserve my judgement until the man plays a few games, I would assume with him being the final foreign spot that he will take marquee wages which leads me to the articles produced at the time of Cahill signing that we had a big name marquee already signed up hence why the Guest spot was changed to accomodate  the signing of Cahill. My question is what happened to this big name marquee? Or was is made up crap because city weren't willing to have two attackers take up marquee positions but the ffa were too desperate to get Cahill to the a league

Yes i tend to agree but i am going to draw a long bow here and say those photos of him in NYC he looked to be wearing our new training kit (without seeing the badge on it)

Was going to say looked to be wearing the new Melbourne City polo. Can be proven to be wrong though.

Robi Koren had some cracking shots in his 3 minute video too...just sayin'

Robbi Koren was 30 plus when he came to us an ultimately fell to the old age injury of constant strained calves. Also he was marquee which you would have expected greater output.

  4. Furthermore another forward? Are we serious? How about some quality defenders, midfield depth we had no issue scoring last season but we did have issues with winning back and retaining the ball for large parts of the game.

Who knows what his contract says but one thing for sure, Novillo will now have to get his shit together otherwise Kamau will start ahead of him that's all I am saying..

Kid kicks three goals in 18 games and you're starting him in front of a bloke who nailed 10 goals across 20 games including game winning goals. Don't get sucked into the hype just because he played on a championship winning side so did duganzic are we taking him back with a warm embrace!

Melling has shown he has a good pass on him and switches the play nicely, not saying that he can replace Mooy, but he should be starting next season imho, I think he has great potential.

If we get Kamau, that's the right side sorted, a left winger/wide forward on the left and a playmaker from Spain is all we would need to make him score.

I don't want kamau the diving cunt, our memories must be short this is the cunt who dropped like a sack of shit and cost us the second goal last week.

  7. Don't blame mooy one bit for looking like he will kill cunts once Castro hit the front. Should never been in the top 5 for playing half a season, mooy, fornaroli, mclaren and Nichols much better over the season. Joke and pretty pissed off.

What are most fans thoughts though, I know it is a team game and we want the whole squad to feel appreciated, but this guy is turning people's attention to the game who previously would not give two boys about the a league!

  9. Still believe Aaron Mooy will win it. In a single season statistically he has been devastating. Probably best individual season by an a league player in its short history. He not only cuts opposition defenders up with his pin point passing, but he can take a free kick, and has ranked up high with the strikers of the league.

  10. Mooy will/ should win it by a country mile, 18 assists, 10 Goals, about 20 ahead in chances created, ahead in crosses into the penalty box. No one comes close in terms to these stats. He is so influential across the park it would be criminal if he did not win it. Bruno is my favourite player at city but I know who has been the better of the two. Diego has one more goal than Mooy but obviously no where near him in regards to assists or chances created he was quite in the first part of the season and mooy has barely had a quite patch even the game against wsw where we lost 4-3 the bloke still came out with three assists.

He will probably sign with another Chinese club to top up his super.

Based on his interview on fox he basically said that no good players will ever come to Australia because the pay is too good in China.

That's alright no good players can come to the a league as long as we keep getting unknown gems like fornarolli, novillo, berisha, keough, janko, broich, etc. to the league then these so called good players are not required. I'm sure cahill would be good to watch but would he score at the rate fornarolli and berisha do?
