  1. Just bought my tickets now on the Ticketek website in Bay 2 (behind the goals)... looks like they've fixed the problem Just select Away Active - Bronze and you should get behind the goals.
  2. Nah, I chose the bottom category (Away Active - Bronze), not Bronze GA... and all I'm getting offered is Bay 38.
  3. This will also be the first away trip for my fiance and I... can't wait! Question though - I'm trying to buy tickets, but when I select Active Away - Bronze, it's allocating me Bay 38 (which is next to the Silver Away section on the sideline), rather than behind the goals... any idea what's up with that?
  4. Fantastic work guys. Love the logo, reckon you've encapsulated everything about the club superbly. Looking forward to joining y'all on the terrace next season!
  5. Yeah, what Boffins said. Would've thought they'd abandon ticker given the name change etc.
  6. And another quick update on this blog. Following the recent colour change announcement, the FansUnite team has resolved to change the name to 'Noisy Neighbour'. Explanation is here: http://www.noisyneighbour.com.au/2014/06/18/4841/whats-that-noise The new Twitter handle is @Noisy_Neighbour The Facebook link above will redirect to the new page. I'm going to be in active support next season so I'll try to spend more time around these parts. As I've said above, I'm in no way trying to redirect traffic away from here onto the blog... I'm simply a passionate Melbourne City fan writing about the club I love. As said above, the door is always open to contributions, so please don't hesitate to message me if you'd like to contribute posts. Cheers!
  7. Well, that was the first active support meeting I'd attended, and I was thoroughly impressed. Some really great, passionate debate. Great job on the minutes, Fingman. Reckon you've covered everything superbly. My fiance and I were debating whether to become active supporters or not - we've been sitting behind or next to Yarraside for about 1.5 seasons, but last night sealed the deal for us. We'll be there next season.
  8. Hey guys, Just a quick update on Red White Lights. The page now has Facebook and Twitter feeds that are fully functioning. Please like and/or share the page with fellow Heart fans. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Red-White-Lights/661068523944557?fref=ts Twitter: https://twitter.com/redwhitelights As always, if anyone would like to contribute posts to the page, please don't hesitate to message me. I'll happily publish content on anything to do with Heart - player reviews, season analysis, rumours, the takeover etc. Thanks guys
  9. As a start-up business, there are no payments for the first few months (me included). In the early phase, it's more about building up a community and/or network of contributors, I'll be looking to cover all topics about the club - match previews/reviews, the players (past and present), coaches, recruitment, the takeover, Yarraside etc. - so do get in touch of you want to get involved. :-)
  10. Hi guys, I've never posted here before, but I'm a pretty regular reader of the forum and am obviously a really big Heart supporter. Anyway, I just want to spread the word about a new blog that I'm editing. It's called Red White Lights and can be found here: http://www.redwhitelights.com.au (twitter: @redwhitelights). The blog forms part of a new website called FansUnite, which is basically a community of blogs - there's one blog for each of the 59 clubs in Australia's main sporting codes, all of which are run by fans and exclusively feature fan-generated content. FansUnite is based on similar websites in the US like SB Nation and Bleacher Report, if you're familiar with those. it's a new initiative in Australia but it should take off given this sports-mad society. And that's where you guys come in! If anybody would like to contribute content, pitch story ideas or simply comment on the articles I've already posted, please sign up and shoot me a message. I'm mainly after short-form pieces (200-300 words), although they can be longer if they're more analysis-based. Articles will be published with YOUR BYLINE. Much like a forum but with a more journalistic twist, the whole idea is to generate discussion and bring a community of fans together. Given that all content will be written by fans, the blog has a license to be critical (constructively), but I'm also keen to provide a voice/coverage for Yarraside and other supporter groups, and just generate more a positive feel around the club. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks guys.
