    BOOM BOOM CLAP

    MELBOURNE, MELBOURNE, MELBOURNE!

Seriously the easiest chant - and the kids would join in too, dead easy.

Would also make a lot of noise if everyone taps their legs to the boom (or chairs lol) and claps on the snare.

hmmm yer probably not, we may aswell have 'lets go melbourne lets go' , and we're better than that

We have been getting too many of these accounts being made:

     Cactawdafecam

Is it possible for mods or whoever to have to accept registrations before people start posting to avoid these things from happening?

along with this, might i add another suggestion. Too many topics/threads are being made for no reason. can we make this another thing mods have to accept before being posted?

    Particularly John Aloisi Threads

I hope I wasn't the only one who saw through Aloisi's little performance after the game in front of Yarraside. He played a lot of you for fools and it was disappointing to see the youth fawning over him.

Who cares if he's got 'a lot of heart for the club' if he can't manage a fucking team? Top bloke, but he's killing this club.

You should fucking care! We might not want him as Manager, but these pricks singing 'sacked in the morning' and holding up 'JA out' signs should show him some fucking respect.

The board know how the supporters feel. All of this silent protest bullshit has to stop. It's not going to change anything and all it does is further disrupt the club. Pull your head in.

I'm pretty sure most people realised through yesterdays silent protest the feelings of YSIDE, which is exactly what it was meant to do. The Silent protest is not an ongoing thing, and YSIDE core should be applauded for their action.

I see JA as a great man who as served the club well, but a man that needs to step down for the good of the Club.

I felt sorry for him after that open goal miss. He's clearly trying his guts out but he is yet to show he is anywhere near the standard required.

For all those declaring he needed better service, fair enough. But even with supposedly shit service (Williams pass was perfect) he very well could and should have scored a hattrick by halftime today.

Not quite sure where you get "Open Goal" from... There was still TWO defenders between him and a goal. Just no Keeper...

Wasnt exactly 'open' but bozza I reckon youd agree he should have put that one away.

Might be worth refreshing our minds on what our founding values were (from http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/melbourneheart/aboutus):

    About us

    Our Club

Inspired by a vision for a broad based community team, celebrating cultural diversity and sporting passion through football, Melbourne Heart FC was established in 2009.

Drawing a link between past, present and future, the Heart’s founders aimed to develop a club truly representative of the wider Victorian football public, hoping to build an identity and guiding philosophy future generations will identify as the beating heart of Melbourne’s newest team.

Their ambition was reflected in the appointment of Chief Executive Officer Scott Munn, an experienced sports administrator who shared the dream of launching a fresh club in the city fast becoming the football capital of Australia.

    Our Values

Melbourne Heart FC is committed to meeting the highest standards of professionalism on and off the park, while remaining faithful to the grassroots community and using its resources and coaching expertise to boost the game at a local level.

The Club's commitment to these core values have been demonstrated through the Westpac Community Football Festival, which has seen Heart host a series of clinics, events and friendly matches in Bendigo, Geelong, Shepparton, Albury Wodonga and Gippsland.

The event also features Melbourne Heart FC’s ‘Coach the Coach’ program, where Head Coach John Aloisi will educate local football clubs on the latest tactical and technical innovations in the game.

The Westpac Community Football Festival has encompass five separate regional centres over 2010 and 2011, with the 2012 edition set to be staged within the Melbourne metropolitan region, ensuring the Heart can engage with a wider cross-section of Victorian society.

    Our Team

    Hey, look over there!

John Aloisi will educate local football clubs, im not sure if they'd be wanting that 'help' right now...

  6. A second half comeback, should always have been expected though. Adelaide have had absolutely horrible second halves all season. Good to see the boys finally shoot for once. Ive got a good feeling about the next few weeks, I think the boys can change it up, we are only 4 or so wins out of the 6, so anything can happen. Poor structure to start the game, and our poor leaks in defence are killing us.

  7. Seeing JA at the end of the match, and watching the replay, there is no doubt that Aloisi has the passion and desire, whether or not this can result in wins, I'm not to sure about. But he has definently earned my respect. A part of me thinks, that maybe the silent protest was needed, to fully show the emotion of the fans which may have been something needed to get the team going, no doubt they had already known how we felt. As much as I think JA wants to and could possibly stay on, I think for the club, it is best that we have a change, to allow us all to move forward, but my respect for JA definently increased after today.
