  1. I think Methods pre requisite act more like a separator particularly getting into courses at monash, which is why if you are good at methods you can be thankful that there are way to many people who shouldn't even be attempting it. I believe but could be wrong there are only two courses where Specialist is a pre req, being actuarial studies, and one more, but specialist is generally suggested for many courses

  2. valid there were certain holes left, but do you really think a treasurer who believes we can't afford certain policies, which is acceptable, should then splurge money on a absolutely ridiculous parental pay package but feels its acceptable to cut money from education, healthcare and middle to low income welfare

I don't like turnbull at all, particularly his opinion on broadband I don't agree with, but he at least seems to have some sort of plan for this country. I see abbott as more of the best of the worst in that cabinet. God help us if we had hockey or pyne step up......

Because Wayne Swan and Penny "The Unsackable Triple Threat" Wong did so well with this Country's Finances in the past six years.

  5. That's been doing the rounds on Facebook, personally I don't get it.

If I see another "the future is bright" and "those kids tore Abbott a new one" type comment I think Ill shove my balls in a toaster.

hahaha very true, yer nothing to look into that much but still domestic politics related.

But I seriously wonder if the prime minister of this country can't give a real answer, albeit to high school students, is he the right man for the job. For me Turnbull was a far better leader than Abbott who had conviction when he spoke. Abbott just doesn't seem to have any ideological wishes and pursuit. Cutting money from programs is no policy. If he were to say this is what were doing to grow Australia, I would somewhat be impressed, even if it didn't match my personal views.

FWIW saying you are the Infrastructure prime minister yet refusing to invest in public transport is really not up to scratch IMO

  6. p.s. do these new laws need to be passed in the senate? Or was that who was sitting last night?

They were passed last night in the upper house which is the 'senate' so to speak. This new change is really the follow up to the accepted move on notices that are used in the CBD to combat drunk and anti social violence, which IMO does have validity, but the fact now that members of the force can now serve these notices to anyone demonstrating appears to be a infringement of rights. Not sure to what extent malloy you know about this one, been trying to read into it, but could this amendment have any effect at sporting events particularly soccer where in the eyes of the media and the police 'hooligans' appear to misbehave ?

  7. Was at the imperial at the time, and did feel that 12 cop cars, black territories, and CIRT team was a bit much. I do fully believe though that the far left socialist group, after being told to leave, should have and allowed parliament to run. Not sure if they were charged with contempt of Parliament, but the legislation being amended is ridiculous. Hopefully this government will create history again by being voted out in september.

Did anyone see which clown lit the flare? We are the Heart not Victory. We support the best (the only) team in Melbourne and don't want to get labelled as "football hooligans". Maybe we should think about policing our own area.

I think that is a great idea, the better job we do of it the more ACG will need to justify why they are there

If a flare gets ripped just tip your beers/water on it. If those responsible don't feel like heros for doing it there is a more likely chance it will stop.

When you pay $6.90 for a mid strength, theres no way you would waste a drop......

I believe those responsible were caught on the day. This sort of thing is never planned by the group. It is only ever the individuals who decide to do this and always will be. Any more discussion regarding the flare that was deployed will result in warnings and/or bans.

    Back on topic.

    Kisbnorbo, you little ripper!!!!!!!

It would help for someone from Yarraside to write to the Border Mail and say this

I know that members that were taken out by police were not the actual ones lighting the flares. So No.
