Too old. Not for this clubJon Mckain anyone? Was decent at CB and DM for adelaide
He is almost 80...
so 5 year contract?
-
Confirmed. Retre on a senior contract. Marino NYL. So that's 3 or 4 spots left depending on Melling's contract.
Excited by Marino, second ever decent young striker we've ever had!
So I take it you have seen a fair bit of Marino in action then?
isnt he more of a winger then a proper no. 9?

Hoffman confirming his godlike status with that clearance

Jon Mckain is available i think. Very versatile defensive player with a lot of experience. And considering chapman will take quite a few months to get up to scratch wouldnt mind an extra Experienced CB

Alot of people also commented how sharp and quick willo was sunday night. You would think this is because of Manchester, which means the rest of the squad should be the same.
saw Nicky Kalmar at the pub on friday before the richmond game and after asking him about the trip to Manchester he told me that they didnt do all that much intensive training due to the three games played over a short time.

ffs its a colour. In other leagues you have loads of clubs that have the same or similar colours. Just the premier league for instance:
Liverpool, man utd, arsenal, cardiff all red.
Sunderland and southampton red and white
Chelsea, everton, lecister all blue
West ham, burnley, and aston villa maroon and blue.
Could go on but at the end of the day its that clubs supporters, results and history that set them apart. Which is why the blue of chelsea is more recognized then the blue of say everton or lecister.
We have the oppurtunity to become the biggest club in australia possibly even asia. I respect if you prefer the old colours but at the end of the day we are gonna get out best results playing in these new colours and i for one am just happy to see this club finally on the way up

Putting it in plain speak - that's bullshit training honestly. The ball is gently rolled onto a players foot and they're asked to gently tap it back.We may finally have sensible social media coverage.
The ball should be fired at the player as per real game action and they should have to trap it dead and kick it back in one motion. That's a joke JVS!!!
Not sure if serious? First off the balls in the air. And if you focus on fechnique doing something slowly then when its at a faster pace it will be easier.

Interesting that this is marketed as ages 7-12. In the Aussie system, where do you go next once you turn 13?
It says year 7-12 so ages 13-18

Hahahah jesus I can't be taken seriously with this name can I!

At the end of the day we are a sister club to nycfc and manchester. Due to the mls season starting in march of course we are gonna be required to have some of their marquee players temporarily. If we where in their position wed expect the same thing. Besides even if lampard and villa only play a few games the momentum and buzz they can give us will be massive and something the coaching stuff and the club can build upon

The hearts, the melbourne hearts or city hearts sounds great.
As much as i dont agree that yarraside be scrapped completely, i respect the decision made by the core and understand why. Wouldve liked to have kept the name yarraside as its a pretty damn good name, and would serve as a memory of where the club came from.
I think if we included the word "heart" or "hearts" in the new name it wouls pay homage to what we where before city owned us and help us to never forget where we came from.

I was just about to post this.
Have already sent my email.
Do we now assume that they have already sorted out the main sponsor for this season?
I dont think so. I remember having already bought a kappa top then a few months later they added a sponsor on the back of the shirt.
