Sarkies and Germano offer a lot more in the holding/deep lying midfielder role than Srhoj. The fact he gives away a lot of fouls, rarely tracks any opponent near the 18 and generally tries the wrong pass most of the time make me wonder if he has the ability to suck a golfball through a length of garden hose.
Sarkies over Shroj? Fair dinkum. I really like the enthusiasm of Sarkies but his presence and influence on the pitch is near anonymous compared to Shroj.

FYI - Vinnie Grella has signaled that he is returning to Italy when his contract at Rovers ends.

Entirely daft that people still talk about getting rid of Shro, especially given how easily teams coast through our midfield when he's not playing.

If it gets us on the sport news in the main stations in the week that AFL is starting, I think it can only be a good thing.

In my time in Yarraside, I have never considered the terrace to be a dangerous or unsafe place to be. I've never feared for my own safety and I'd have no problems bringing my girlfriend along to the games (and she has), because I think there is no chance of her getting injured or hurt etc.
The heavy handedness of security when telling people to get off seats, get into the aisles and those that have had a few beers too many has been nothing short of absurd. In fact, I think their presence is more likely to make the terrace a more hostile environment, not a "safer" one.
Whilst I admit the lighting of flares is something that does draw a level of attention to us, something really needs to be done regarding ACG to ensure the Yarraside is a place that is first and foremost about supporting the 11 on the pitch and chanting non-stop, rather than an ongoing unmanageable situation with overbearing security.

Scott Munn's a good bloke - CEO's arent necessarily meant to be liked.. but Scott does a VERY good job of keeping Heart fans especially Yarraside behind him - and trolls the fuck out of Victory fans.

Despite the fact we have secured finals for the first time, I was remarkably flat when the missus picked me up post game.
Bloody tough result to deal with. Great that we made finals but we really blew an opportunity to get that home final with the usual issues - sloppy defending and lack of finishing touch.
