Going over to the UK in September/October. Shame to not be seeing them in the top flight, but then at least ticket prices will be more reasonable! Going to see the countryside around away fixtures.

I want to see a proper photo of Engelaar flanked by Murdocca and Mifsud. Perhaps with Engelaar using their heads as armrests.

Some good early anti-Ramsay posting ITT for people to back-pedal around...

If anyone's ever noticed - I know the 'investigative journalists' certainly haven't picked up on it - tonight is only the fourth time in Heart's history that they've come from behind to win a match.
Only previous occasions;
Wednesday November 10, 2010, 9:00 PMNQ Fury 2, Heart 3Game #13Fun fact: David Williams started the match - for the NQ Fury.Friday December 17, 2010, 8:00 PM (AET)Adelaide 1, Heart 2Game #19Fun fact: Iain Ramsay was subbed into the game in the 82nd minute. I expect most supporters will remember this game forever - I remember the roof nearly being lifted off The Riser...Friday December 23, 2011, 8:00 PM (AET)Heart 3, Victory 2Game #39Fun fact: Harry Kewell started the match - for the tards...That's getting close to 25 months, and 61 regular season games. Had we held on to win against Adelaide this season, it would have been the only time that we would have recovered from being two goals down to win.A lot is spoken about "attitude" and "mentality" after conceding a goal... it's a little alarming to look at how infrequently we've achieved a result in the face of this. -
tbh not a lot he is a great guy but i was just pissed that he came over to me while being kicked out told me to relax and that i should be able to get back in and then 5 or so minutes later i was being ejected
Don't get yourself ejected, and/or grow up and take some responsibility for your own actions - blaming Mr Munn directly for your woe, you muppet.
His genuinely approachable nature and prescence in the terrace is an asset to our supporter base, and something by which I would almost advertise the active membership! You can expect that the club gets what's going on at this level (within reason)...
- Segue to the topic: MORE PET MEMBERSHIPS! Sign up your goldfish, budgies and guinea pigs! And then, um, ask for those to be included in the membership count haha....

< the thread for discussing it >
Band at the top of their game, and the top of Australian hardcore... And (3/4, at least!) Melbourne proud...

I still have one of those huge faggy snickers coated canvas adverts with the butterfly-facepaint victory fans that *some text missing* from Richmond Station - anyone got any suggestions for alterations? I had thought to try and *some text missing* a few more, cut out the stupid looking one and make a heap of 'pop up' fairy-looking Victory fans for the next derby...

Van Dijk would fit into the culture and type of play that we've had going, I reckon - with the right support behind him, he could do extremely well here. Wouldn't hold my breath though. ALL ABOUT HERNANDEZ HERE LOL

I voted for Kodos

Bit late for that sadly.
Who gets the week two fixture? Is it a (finals series) goal difference-based decision or based on regular-season position? Before posting, I had the quickest look at the 'finals table' (admittedly on wikipedia) and got the suggestion that the winner of the 3rd vs. 6th fixture hosted in week 2?

carlos hernandez is in the squad, he might be tired from playing for green gully 3rds the night before but he'll be in !!
-
"the club chairman believes making the play-offs could lift membership by more than 33 per cent next season."
Might be a bit much, but it will certainly burn into people's vision that we're playing serious football... A home final in week two would be epic and could do big things......

In summary, what a shit couple of years we've endured
Who becomes a MHFC supporter and expects anything other than steady growth upwards from a meagre starting point... We haven't had the worst stats in the league in either season.
-
lol MHFC have to axe four players to be able to sign Hernandez. Not enough room in the bus.
Seriously - keep Williams. He's on for another two years - get him into (insert VPL side here), play a full off-season and get into hot form (or proceed to fuck him off at that point!). As a fan - I want Sarkies back next season and giving it a good go - the 5 appearances this season netted two great goals and I think more time on-field is due. Shroj is definitely replaceable. And - they simply must offer Goodwin a senior contract! I really hope he's given a run out in lieu of Colosimo on Sunday....

Well done mate, good stats.
Points to both some positives but a few negatives.
Would also like our average attendances without the derby from last year and this year if possible.
Home form is terrible and something we need to improve on. I have my thoughts on why we are so flat at home.
But well done mate, very interesting.
Makes for harsh viewing, but then almost every club has a similar syndrome.

Hey guys, I put a couple of hours in and did up a table comparing our first two seasons, primarily highlighting our improvements 'by the numbers' this season. I'm a bit of a numbers nerd... Hope some of you appreciate this. Happy for this to be brushed up and re-distributed elsewhere too guys.
* Amended, thanks JW1739 for noticing that! Removed and re-uploaded file. Removed Morwell from the equation entirely...
* 2nd amendment, with 'derby-deleted' averages in-situ...
