  1. This bloke is one of the reasons I follow this club, and this code of football.

I'd always been into AFL and Rugby Union, but saw footage of his Santa Hat goal and celebration and figured it might be fun to head down to a Heart game.

Sad to see him go, but I understand the reasoning. Hope he does well wherever he ends up

Benches in place against Perth.  Some seats to have views restricted 'slightly'.  Will be installed without roof or sides.  Club will move any supporters to new seats free of charge if a reserved seat member is not happy with their view.

Without the roof, I doubt they'll impede the view much.

Not any worse than that glass that runs from First Touch area and across the seats in front of the visitors bench

Well, it depends whether you're impacted doesn't it? I've put $5000 into two Premium A memberships over the five seasons, and I wouldn't be taking kindly to having a restricted view or changing seats if either happens. There are no spare Premium A seats in that particular bay or on the western wing at all - I know because I enquired only a couple of weeks ago. MrsJW can't take the sun so moving to the eastern side is out of the question.

I rang the club yesterday about this. As it happens it looks as though our row will not be affected, and I was advised that those members who will be affected will be contacted by City.

I don't often use expletives, but it's about fucking time FFA started to consider the fans who make this game rather than making ad hoc decisions from its comfortable offices in Sydney.

Yep, obviously it depends on whether or not the seats block your view.

But without the roof, I can't see it causing too many issues. I could be wrong.

I had to move bays because the glass pissed me off.

With these new 'dug-out' style benches, the best thing to do would be to actually put them in dug-outs at AAMI, so they can have the roof on and they won't mess with anyones view
