My international membership has rolled over once again - being 9,000km away from Melbourne makes it easier to support this club at times

Does anyone want to meet up to trade stickers?
There's a swap meet in Windsor, Melbourne later today held at La Tienda - the venue might be hosting future swap meets too so if you're interested, get in touch with them.
The details of today's meet is here:
-
Meet the Panini World Cup Stickerheads

Andrew Redmayne played in goal for Liverpool overnight as they went on to lose the Champions League final 3:1 against Real Madrid

Bump for the 2018 World Cup - how are people going with their collections?
For those who don't want to pay, or those who want to check the stickers online - have a look at the digital sticker album here:

Good luck and post any swaps in this thread

I was comforted by the potential ACL playoff spot after the Jets loss but then remembered:
- Victory will most likely pull an absolute rabbit out of their ass and edge us out like just about every other season.
- If we do get the ACL playoff spot, we will somehow bottle it against the Myanmarese fourth place side who will seek political asylum in the away leg.
I miss the ice wheelie-bin days

Here are the highlights.

- fights the keeper (thought this had the footage of it, but its when he gets up from rolling)
Welcome to your typical Victorian state league game...

That seems a bloody odd choice by him, anyone know the strength of the Israel league?
To be honest, it's not too bad a move given that the top three teams at the end of the season make a European competition (1st: Champions League second round qualifying, 2nd & 3rd: Europa League first round qualifying).
Domestically, he's signed for a former powerhouse who were regular league champions alongside Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv a decade ago, more recently though, the league has become more even with 'smaller clubs' taking the title. Yossi Benayoun (Israel's most capped player) is a club legend there and helped them qualify for the Champions League as well as win the title during the late 90's early 00's.
Continentally, Maccabi Haifa have been in and out of the Champions League (and Europa League) over the past decade but struggled - they did have a famous win over Man Utd in 2002 though!
All in all, time will tell if it's been a good move I guess...

A good read for anyone who remembers MHFC's Jeremy Walker and his trip to the U.K post Heart:
Quote“He [Holloway] asked me if I was a footballer. And asked if I had my gear and gave me a kit and I ended up staying for six weeks, training and playing with the reserves and seniors at Millwall,”

Zahra now playing for Heidelberg and will face his old side Perth Glory in the FFA Cup at Olympic Village.
Magic of the cup etc...
QuoteEx-Perth Glory flyer Adrian Zahra is relishing a crack at his former Hyundai A-League club in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32.Zahra, 26, now plays for PS4 NPL Victorian club Heidelberg United, who will host Glory in a marquee tie of the opening round of the FFA Cup at Olympic Village next month.

The club shop has the following 48 hour sale:
Just applied the code to the FFA Cup Frame and it came down to $160 (plus $10 postage) - looks like the cheapest way to get this item if anyone's interested

Does anyone know of a place that would be open today that sells & prints a-league names on jerseys in Melbourne?
Also, has anyone heard if the club is still doing the trade in your old shirt for the 2015/16 +$30?

and possibly claim the club's first piece of silverware as well
So the NYL title and W-League Premier's Plate don't mean anything?
We are more than just a senior men's team!

Not sure about Malik...
Pros: strong bodied defender who is experienced at domestic level (and is still just 25)
Cons: horrific brain fades and at times, awful distribution
Big gamble by CFG, could either be the missing piece in the puzzle or literally cost us a title going on prior form

Foundation 2010/11 member and submitted the survey with these points:
- CFG's ownership has turned an underdog club with soul into a globalised marketing exercise.
- I feel more of a 'shareholder' than a 'member' under the City moniker.
How do others feel?

Saw a stack of city kits (home and away) at the Nike outlet in South Wharf the other week, they were no where near that cheap though ($70 from memory). That was a few weeks ago so might have been reduced since then, there was a lot of them there
Thanks for that!
Went in today and bought the home and away for $30 each. There aren't any mediums left in home (only XL or XXL left) but the away has all sizes.

Norwegian league is pretty good and lillestrom play in Europe. Doubt he'll get a contract
Don't forget that Dylan McAllister was able to pick up a couple of contracts there...

I'd say its fair enough when a city that could barely get 2000 to an A League game when they had their own club can get 21000 to a game between Man City and Melbourne
Scott Munn has invited 20,998 other bald men to the game and they will be doing this:

The one thing Ian Ramsay could've been applauded for in a City shirt...

Has anyone seen, read or know anything about this???
