  1.

Fine idea about getting members to bring a friend, I reckon it would be good to do against the wanderers round 5 given thats our first match on SBS

The number of empty seats is embarrasing so why not every game (besides derby)? Or does it cost the club to give away tickets?

Why would I buy a membership if I can just use my mates freebies to attend every single game?

Could do ID check and just allow a person to receive the freebie once. Like at the casino.

Or could give out a limited number of free tickets for members valid at any non-derby game.

Leaving the seats empty is a missed opportunity.

  3. Some advice for club administration to help increase membership:

    1) I was a member last season and have not received anything about new memberships, by email or post. The first I heard about this were those Melbourne Heart website ads that are everywhere these days.

Hopefully these ads attract new members, but also need to maintain the existing membership.

    2) There are many empty seats at the regular games so would be great to give members free tickets for friends. I invited a friend to that new years match last season and they loved the supporter atmosphere.

    3) I would guess that the majority of members (like myself) are not actively reading these forums so should email the membership about exciting developments, like signing Kewel. I just discovered that this morning.

  4. what do you need to do to get a membership?

Also what is the definition of teens?

Go to the Melbourne Heart tent near the ticket counter and you can fill in the membership form on the spot.

Any student card will do for concession - I brought along an international student today doing a Phd, and they still got concession price.

  5. Just called the club and got my membership, if I knew it wasn't going to be the full price i would've got it a few weeks ago, club needs to publicise this! Couple of mates are also signing up knowing it's not the full price

Nice one - how much did the concession membership end up costing?

  6. I heard that we can get free home game tickets for friends. Do you know where to find more info?

I plan to bring some friends to next game but want to check how many tickets we can get.

Incidentally, I bought the membership recently at AAMI and found it was half price because mid-season.

Might attract more people if this was advertised - the membership website only lists the full price:
