Okay everyone, this is the news about the terrace. This all came from a reliable source from an NT meeting. Please read! (This is all copy pasted from a message the person sent me yesterday):

"Memo: re - North Terrace supporters' meeting, re - course of action for North Terrace for next Sunday's game v Newcastle.

Present: Representatives of BWB, Horda, Nomadi, (ex?) ITA, SDC. Fratelli were not present but I am told they support us in our decisions.

We had a very good discussion about what's been happening and everybody's concerns and grievances were aired. We then discussed a course of action for next Suday. We have come to an agreement in consideration of a lot of things. I took notes.

Proposed protest action:

Order of the day re whole match, whole NT: No flags, no standards, no drum. Fence banners upside-down

First half: North Terrace stands in complete silence.

Throughout the half, a number of protest banners are dislplayed throughout the NT (every 5-10 minutes). Was agreed that all / most banners should be yellow on black concrete underlay, in symbolic support of Horda. Also agreed - nothing offensive / provocative - just tell the truth in plain English.

Second Half: Limited chanting, co-ordinated through megas. Some pro-team (but nothing too 'happy'), but also protest chants (e.g. we are not criminals, can try out some others). More strisciones.

To ensure North Terrace participation:

We start promoting this on Monday via whatever means of communication possible. All agreed to an open and well-organised campaign for the sake of accountability.

On match day, leaflets to be distributed on NT. SDC will also try to get the South End to be silent as possible (shouldn't be too hard!)

To promote positive response from everyone else, the following have been approved:

- An open letter to be distributed to regular MVFC fans (5,000 - 10,000 copies) explaining our actions, our reasons and thanking them for their ongoing support.

- An open letter to the players explaining our actions, our reasons and thanking them for their ongoing effort, also asking them to not take any lack of atmosphere personally, and thanking them for our ongoing support.

- An open letter to the club on behalf of the NT (specifically supporters' groups) outlining our actions, reasons and certain demands

MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHAT WE HOPE TO ACHIEVE / OUR BOTTOM LINE:

A public statement of disgust and solidarity by the NT adressing the following issues / concerns:

1. Overzealous policing at matches - This includes:

- A call for police working inside the stadium to no-longer be armed with firearms or tasers;

- Better training and more appropriate attitude / behaviour and responses from security staff;

- That security staff and police are familiar with and honour the Charter;

- That police follow procedure when policing soccer matches, namely, not indiscriminately deploying capsicum spray against the crowd, especially when such action is not needed.

- That police employ a less confrontational / more restorative approach when moving in to evict / talk to non-violent fans.

2. Stadium bans:

- That any supporter who is banned be allowed to appeal the ban / have the ban properly administered by proper legal standards. This includes:

- The provision of appropriate legal documentation / paperwork;

- The right to review evidence that proves any alleged offence;

- The right to challenge the ban through the legal system (court / mediation).

- More accountability of those who are issuing the bans (who are they, how do they decide who is banned and who isn't)

This is to be backed by an overall NT pledge of solidarity with Horda, who fear that the entire group will be effectively banned. This of course would be most unjust, and serve as a harmful precentent for the NT as a whole.

3. MVFC - Supporter relations:

- We express our disgust at the way officials at MVFC have responded publically to the most recent alleged incident at the MVFC v Western Sydney match, namely:

- That they did nothing to correct media assertions that a policeman was "assaulted" / "bashed" in the North Terrace. No

such thing ever happened;

- That they did not publically protest / disapprove of the indiscriminate and reckless discharge of casicum spray in the NT;

- That the club showed an overall lack of fortitude with its response to a mainstream media campaign that was slandering

and defaming the name of its own supporters, with information based on sloppy journalism and outright, concocted lies.

- That the club then patronised the North Terrace by thanking it for being an integral part of its brand! Enough said.

Further pending a demand for a review and certain ammendments to the Charter.

4. MEDIA

- Shedding light on the fact that the media assault against soccer fans / NT / Horda was based on concocted stories that were fabricated by the Police and certain media personalities.

- A stand against public perceptions of what happens at soccer matches, and an acknowledgement of those who still come to the soccer, support the team and essentially fill our stadia, despite this negative, false publicity.

It is messy and complicated, but with the right organisation, right publicity and proper conduct on the day (no flares! no provocation!) we can pull it off and it has the potential to be an outstanding success that will concrete the NT into the next generation.

All were in agreement at the meeting that it has to be done. This has to be the most dignified thing the NT has ever pulled off.

What happpens afterwards?

Depending on the success of, and peoples' responses to the action, we come together following the match and discuss any further course of action.

No guarentees either way.

Guys if we could all spread this around via PMs today - to all who attended the meeting and other members of supporters' groups, we can get the word out by tomorrow and keep promoting it all week. By Sunday 90% of the NT should be 'in the know'.

We should also have the open letters / NT supporters' leaflets finalised no later than Wednesday / Thursday. We can send them around likewise, for final approval."

Besides the retarded posts that post has just spawned in this thread - you can't help but laugh. NT and its subgroups consistently break the rules in open air every week and think they can continue to get away with it? It's little wonder why these groups are hated by your average MVFC fan and everyone else in the terrace.

The notion Horda are innocent of any wrongdoing makes this announcement really credible guys :up:

Looking forward to seeing their Ben Sherman clad youth crew and tagalongs get a faceful of peppers pray again.

From the Terrace that brought us cock shaped tifos and a giant turd draped in a red & white bar scarf, comes this monstrosity;

As if it wasn't enough that they have to damage the game with widespread acts of hooliganism on a weekly basis, they have to discredit the scene too with a neon stick figure tifo which looks like it has been drawn by a limbless baby suffering from acute paralysis. Dead set embarrassment the lot of them :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:

Neon Protest Banners to come Sunday, thats if "MV's Camera Hogging Paid Fan Liason Officer" can not intervene so his "Bestie for Life" Doria does not get his own way!

So wait... Did they make that neon poster on the purpose to make the scene of the game look very shit and child-like/amateur support as part of this protest that I'm half following about them being "bullied and mistreated" by police and security?

Or was this a genuine effort for their team?

Oh dear me,

Horda, Nomadi, Auto, Fratelli and M3 go the effort of having a meeting and agree to have a organised and planned protest this Sunday, they then go ahead and release a Public Statement about the Protest that will occur.

Only to be told by BWB momments later that there will be no protest. :droy:

Seriously these blokes have less of grip on what their Terrace Members want/need than the Emperor Nero did of his Roman Subjects. :droy:

Nothing like a good ole North Terrace Purge! :up:
