KSK_47
I just read that ffa has been given a deadline of 2016 to introduce a 16 team top teir comp with a relegation system otherwise we will be booted from the champions League. I read this on the bring back the nsl Facebook page so there is a good chance it is total rubbish (especially considering some of the other garbage they post). Anyone heard anything about this and have a link?

KSK_47
Haha. I dont believe it. I was just wondering if there was any truth at all behind their claims. The only source they have is some poorly worded random quote from which they have not said where it came from. Wanted to know if anyone had heard anything remotely similar from a reputable source. But considering the only places I have heard this are from HAL bashing pages I am assuming there is zero truth to this. KSK_47
Lol. Their "source" is an article in the Sydney Morning Herald dating back to December last year which was regarding the AFC's decision to strip Aust of a second guaranteed place in the ACL. Carry on. http://www.smh.com.au/sport/a-league/club-chiefs-furious-over-asian-snub-20121202-2ap1e.html
Haydos
These asian teams that come over and play always have incredible away support. In tonights case more away supporters than CCM supporters. Are these just fanatical supporters that travel away for group games? Or are they Australian supporter group/expats that are attending? Have always wondered. If they do travel all the way over. Respect.
KSK_47
They are Chinese international students from Sydney that the club paid to travel up and decked them out in shirts and scarves.

Peter
Watching CCM play in China at the moment is interesting. Ibini seems to have been deployed as a defender. The A-League standard needs to improve a bit to compete at this level, if Australia is going to be taken seriously in Asia.
True Until I die
BUMP Well done to the wanderers for the win. But- I found this amazing documentary out together by fox sports about Adelaide's 2008 champions league run Really enjoyed it and offered great insight into the competition. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s9JSFymfgM

Shahanga
Can all those players swim? Some one might drown if they can't. (More seriously I have never seen pros play in so poor conditions, though I have myself, but that's teenage hack level) Edited May 5, 2015 by Shahanga
