2016/17 Fixture

To be released in the next hour or so.

SMH have been reporting a Round 1 Sydney Derby at ANZ and Newcastle hosting Adelaide so that leaves us with Brisbane, CCM, Welly or Perth.

We have Brisbane, Adelaide, Newcastle and Perth as our double up home games in 2016/17.

Given we havent played a Round 1 home fixture since our first year, I reckon we'll get Perth or Brisbane at home to kick off the season.

Holy shit. We have so many Friday night matches! Only one Sunday home game all season? We must have big name coming in that the FFA knows about. Tim Cahill

I couldn't be more stoked with the fixture. Athough I don't know how impressed the families would be with all the Friday night/mid-week games.

The home fixtures are great, just a shame about the away fixtures. Last season we got a decent away support twice in Adelaide on Friday nights, perfect oppertunity to get decent numbers again and they've put it on a Thursday FFS.

Only thought on that is Adelaides ACL games. But I'm totally guessing whether that's the reason.

Once again we're away at the start and end of the season. Ffs surely it's someone else's turn, happens to us basically every year.

I'm happy about the weeknight games at least, I enjoy going after work.

Didn't even think about that, but yeah. Also Wellington away first round isn't a great trip and Perth away last round is also bad. Worst away trips possible.
