Estadio Monumental, Lima, Peru. 80,000 capacity. I agree - what an astonishing construction.

Well, looks like i am going to Puru.

I have always love stadiums that look like they are part apartment block. And i have always lovesld stadiums near mountains. Tick, tick.

Think I've just added this to my end of year trip, what an absolute masterpiece.

ive been told that the atmosphere in South America is unrivalled but the stadiums alone are getting me excited

I can't give you the mountains, but this one has always fascinated me although of course I've never been there. It's the Telia Parken in Copenhagen, and I believe that the windows behind the goal there belong to the club's "megastore", which I assume is some sort of shopping centre. If anyone's actually been there I would love to know the details! With a full house there I reckon the atmosphere must be electric.

This was the exact one i was thinking of! Its also on my bucket list along with Bokka Juniors stadium. I have a very expensive bucket list
