While O'Neill isn't the perfect holding midfielder, he is a lot more mobile than Griffiths, waaaay too much space for the Sydney mids.

Yeah wrong choice perhaps, Metcalf would have been a better replacement. That would also given Tilio a deserved start.

Looking bang average.

Remarkable that Tilio is on the bench after his last game, and it's not as though he's in need of rotation. We are crying out for subs already, so inevitably we'll see Cola and Tilio at the 80th minute and Endoh in the 89th minute in 4 weeks time.

He is all over the place at the moment. He's gone from never coming off his line to nearly running to half way everytime the ball moves towards him on the pitch

Tonight I was particularly impressed with a 100% turnover rate from long goal kicks.

A very important away win for us, against an important opponent, away, and when we were playing poorly

Positives:

We won

We won when we played poorly

Leckie now showing why we signed him, he really should have scored both goals

It's nice to see Paulo Retre still scoring goals for us

Corica's face at the end

A commendably and uncharacteristically restrained performance from Chris Beath

Negatives:

A poor game from us, beaten in every metric apart from the one that counts. Very poor pass completion, especially in the front third, put more pressure on our defence than it should have had. Poor movement, we look tired.

One excellent reflex save from Glover, otherwise, it was a very poor game from him

Late subs from us, Endoh and Cola should have come on earlier

Thought leaving Maclaren on till we got the winner was a good call. Colakovski is significantly less likely to secure the late goal than JMac.

As usual  frustrating selection by Kisnorbo. Tilio has been one of our best recently but gets dropped. I understand trying to have a more defensive setup with Metcalfe and particularly Griffiths both coming in, but would've liked to see Tilio start again, especially as mentioned on here Nabbout was no where near 100%. Didn't catch the full sub list but was Bos mentioned? He played 2 excellent games and has seemed to fall off the face of the earth despite Jamieson being out multiple times now.

Very nice to steal the win, as others have mentioned Leckie is much improved on early season form and that was an excellent finish.
