This was done on the basis that the person who made the allegation can easily be identified, which may result in them being subjected to abuse. I believe the club have been notified and I assume Victoria Police too. I ask that forumites refrain from posting anything that can identify the person again (I know that they can easily be found, but doesn't mean we have to make it easier) I suggest that we just drop comment for the moment and let whatever investigations there are going to be take place.
malloy
The two demolitions of Victory may prove to be very helpful in the title race. We currently have a significantly superior goal difference over the rest of the league, which is almost as good as another point. Tommykins
The Living End to finish and Gang of Youths before the game, also. Much better.

I've been critical of Noone before but IMO he's redeemed himself in recent matches, and is combining well with Jamieson. What we're doing is playing old-fashioned football - getting the ball out wide to a couple of wingers, and them crossing it into the centre forward into the 6-yard box to get it into the net somehow - anyhow - chest, foot, head, doesn't matter. And if the rebound comes out we have players backing up to have another go. Our combination of this with the high press is unstoppable. And I think Noone is playing his part in this very effectively, second on our goalscorers list and plenty of assists if you want to count those. If Noone can play his role for 60-70 minutes and then make way for Tilio I'm more than happy.
Shahanga
Just watched the replay. 7-0 was an accurate reflection of the game. Really should have been about 4-0 at halftime.

n i k o
I thought the odds of seeing such a drubbing as I did last night were a pipe dream. But I never thought I would see it happen where we stayed in third gear for majority of the match.

Who is the biggest club in Melbourne now? Seriously listen to that howl from our fans when that seventh goal goes in. There's ten years of being sneered at and belittled in that scream of joy. It just says got you, you bastards, at last, now slink off and snivel. 2 minutes ago, jw1739 said: Were the COV-19 rules the same in both cases? Only 300 shy of the biggest A-League attendance this season, and that was the Sydney derby back in Round 4. I felt that Saturday’s result was a cathartic moment in the history of the A-League and for Melbourne City (and indeed for the late Melbourne Heart). We have been laughed at as having no identity except that of “not being Victory” and the butt of endless jokes about having no heart and being the moneybags club that never wins anything. But Saturday night washed all that away. We and the League came of age in a match that will never be forgotten. What a privilege it has been to have been there from the start. 10

belaguttman
No wonder Traore was shitty, almost all his involvement was back passing to his CB, there were no forward passing options at all. Glover played the whole 90+ but roughly had as much involvement as the subs.
