TTDIM : that it's now possible to change your address with vicroads online, and it asks you nothing more than details that are on your licence. So now if I ever find someone's licence I'm going to fuck up their life by changing their address to a random one

Don't hate me, hate the retarded system

TTDIM: Noticed of late a lot of dumb kent atheists using an upside cross as a symbol on stickers and graffiti in my neck of the woods... you think one of them might check their history first before doing as such.

The Upside Cross has always been known for like 2000 years to be the Cross of St Peter AKA the first Pope (As it did not want to be crucified as Christ had been) and so its actually a specific symbol of the Pope and Roman Catholicism and is used in churches everywhere around the world.

Its even dumber than PPL who adopt Guy Fawkes Masks as a fighter of oppression... the bloke wanted oppression just Catholic oppression not Protestant Oppression.

Lmao agree with all of that.

I think the guy fawkes mask has been adopted by anonymous largely because it resembles anonymity for the most part (think of V for Vendetta, that scene where hundred of masked people are walking the streets).

TTDIM: queen vic winter night market. So much good street food, reminded me of being back in London.

Agreed - Only problem is the amount of choice and when you chose and are left disappointed... knowing there were a thousands of other decent options.

Also TTDIM: Just Street Food Options in the Inner North in general these days.

TTDIM: Steam sales. I'm never actually going to have time to play any of the games I buy, but I just like having them in my collection.

I've never played probably about 80% of my Steam library.

3 points for a win.

Not sure when it changed (presume late 80s or 90s) but so much better than the old 2 points.  The game improved for the better when 2 draws didn't equal a win.  You need to reward people who are actually trying to win games.

(incidentally I'm not sure the Matildas would have got 2nd place under the old system)

Cheers.  That article was interesting, but I stand with Jimmy Hill on this one still.

The point about protecting a win was interesting, but then again I'd hazard a guess that "one nil to the arsenal" has been around for a lot longer then there's been 3 points.

FWIW coaches and commentators tend to talk about the need for the "2nd goal" to kill a game off.

My Dad told me that the "Lucky Arsenal" tag dates back to the great years when Herbert Chapman was the Arsenal manager.

The "One-nil to Arsenal" first appears in the novel "The Arsenal Stadium Mystery" in 1939.

Sorry Tesla. While Sweeden is still around you will never convince me a well thought out socialist model is inferior

More centre left then out and out Left wing, hence why it's not a total failure

i think out and out either way is shit

Probably correct TBH.
