The Boot Room

I figured since we have stadium porn and kit appreciation threads, we needed a thread for the fans of football cleats among us such as myself! My personal boot taste is very similar to my taste in kits, in that I love anything simple and clean cut. My favourite boots for the new season at the moment are the 2015 edition of the Adidas 11pros.

I'm a big fan of the 11pros, I have a pair of the indoor soccer version of these from last year and they feel fantastic. Another plus with these is that sexy as fuck colour scheme which looks a lot like the Melbourne City home kit. They rrp at $200 which is fairly good, so I will definitely be getting these for the new outdoor season.

I'm a fan of anything that isn't Nike, Adidas or Puma.

ATM I'm wearing the Mizuno Morelia Neo in blue (Hulk's world cup colourway).

Leather toe-box with the rest of the upper being synthetic makes for a tight but comfortable fit. Studs are similar to the F50s. Made in Japan.

The best boot that I have personally had was the now discontinued ballsy release by Under Armor which at the time, were new to the world of soccer cleats:

Blur Carbon 3 was what they were called. Unbelievable fit, light as a feather and very, very fucking expensive. Not everyone's favourite in terms of aesthetics though.

Never been too fond of bright football shoes. Mizuno do quality baseball cleats and runners but I've never had a football boot by them.

Quite liking the Umbro UX-1 Concept FG would be my boot of choice if playing outdoor.

Got a set of Nike Street Gato's that i picked up cheap for social indoor use, Not the greatest but they beat runners.
