Cfg should just cut their losses and fold New York

Unlikely, they were actually in a good run of form going into this match and home crowds are always between 20-30k, if anything bad for us as the primary focus will almost certainly shift there with more debacles like this.

its funny I remember watching ny red bulls when Cahill and Henry were there, Henry use to turn on the magic but the rest of the team was mostly unwatchable, now they're a quality outfit without any pop stars in the side.

Came across this pic of viera leaving the field after the 7-0 loss to red bulls. Perhaps they are taking brand synergy to a new level and exotic, once great players who cant organize their defense but can rock a suit/sneakers combo is now the template for all CFG coaches.

that is pretty high standard of dressing for americans.

The old "our coach is European and a snappy dresser- give him time". JVS managed to bluff his way through 4, going on 5 seasons using this trick. Wonder how long Viera can use it before he is expected to produce results

2:2 after being 2:0 and Villa missed a pen to make it 3.

Equaliser came after 93.45 on the last touch of the game, with only 3 minutes of stoppage time alotted. They were seriously stiff and should have been way further ahead all game. Heart-esque

Rolled Columbus Crew 4-1 to secure 2nd spot at the end of the H&A season in the East Conference. Red Bulls finished top 3 points clear and Dallas 1st (Premiers) in the West Conference. NYC were 4th overall.
They get the week off now before playing the highest ranked winner of the 3 v 6 and 4 v 5 matches at home.

Toronto rolled Philly 3-1 yesterday whilst the inform DC United just got pantsed at home by Montreal.

Two legged Semis are

NY Red Bulls v Montreal

NY City FC v Toronto

Dallas v Winner of Seattle v Sporting Kansas

Colorado Rapids v LA Galaxy

2nd leg about to kick off.

Colorado Rapids knocked Galaxy out earlier and NY Red Vulls went out in straight sets from top spot. Could be an all Canadian East Conference Final if Toronto go on and beat NYC today, which is bound to piss off all the Americans.
