As members of the Club, we want you to help us to shape elements of our match-day experience and choose the walk out song! The Club has recently had positive discussions with the Melbourne City FC supporter groups and Fan Representative Group in regards to Club songs for the 2014/15 season and about how the Club can collectively improve the atmosphere at games. The feedback from the general supporter base is that the current club song, ‘So Happy Together’ is a success and as a result we will be continuing with it this season. For those new to the Club, the lyrics will appear on the big screen at all 13 home matches. If you haven’t heard the Club song yet, you can check it out here and start learning the lyrics! For the player walk out track, we are looking for our members to recommend the best songs which will motivate the team as they come onto the field and we will make this come to life at our first home against Newcastle Jets on Sunday October 19. Simply email membership@melbournecityfc.com.au with ‘walk out song’ in the subject heading along with the recommended song. We will select five winning tracks and members will have the chance to vote for the top choice in a survey in next week’s club newsletter.
