I for one prefer maroon kits and tend to buy them whenever released by City, as for sky blue I don´t really fancy it, it´s just the colour used by my club mostly..

Speak for yourself. I love the sky blue colour, never quite had a taste for maroon though (though I do recognise its history with City)

That GK kit would look ten times better with grey shorts too. The white just doesn't go IMO.

White is a nothing colour.

There is actually debate over whether or not white is a colour at all

I've had this debate. It's a fucking color!

Its not. Its the absence of colour

I understand the science, but the definition of white (pure white) is having no colour.

Anyway, this is getting way off track, so lets move on.

No.  Black is having no colour.

White is the blend you get when you combine all colours.

If you want to get technical, when you see something that is white it is because it "has no colour". As all light is reflected off the material. When something looks black it is because it is absorbing all light/colour

In conclusion, white light consists of all(?) spectrums of light whilst something that looks white is technically of no colour.

I honestly can't tell if it's the off season or not

In everyday life white is a colour. When you buy a car and the salesman asks "what colour would you like?" he doesn't stare at you blankly if you say white.

That's what matters. Do we understand it to be a colour. And scientifically some people even claim it's a colour- it just depends how you assess it.

So really this is all a futile discussion.

I think what is required is a member vote to decide whether white is a colour or not. I feel it is a highly important topic to get right as it may derail our season as supporters if we don't.

We may need to define what colour is and whether an action group that can liase with the clubis in order. Then ascertain if the forum members agree with the use of polls is appropriate as a benchmark for colour agreement.

Can we call it the peoples front of Melbourne?

what has colour ever done for us?
