hedaik
Just a word of caution to all who venture up here( i am on the spot) you should definitely remember to Slip Slop Slap because the sunshine here is much more severe and 37c is like 40c and there is NO cool change as in Melbourne. lots of luck with the train guys. As of Tuesday the 11th i will be a Melbourne resident so hope to go to all home games in the future. Onya Johnno
Footballism
Might have 40 or so spare seats. That 4am train is fucking tempting though.

carlings
What crowd we looking at getting realistically?
Nate
The organisers initially said around 10k when the game was first planned but 5-7k is probably more realistic, especially on a Sunday arvo
Jestr
Wow that many? I would have thought 4k max
carlings
Yeh considering we're getting around 7k at AAMI I can't really see the crowd being over 5k in Albury, happy for the locals there to prove me wrong though!
El Cunado
40 degrees will put off a fair few I reckon. Should be fun though. Fingers crossed for a cool change though.

Heart is Melbourne
Panthers is close but a fair bit of a dive, compared to the Impy. Perhaps either the bended elbow, paddys or the albury lads drink at the astor. All are close to or on dean st, close to qe2 square for this shuttle bus and serve better beers with an added bonus of some country lasses on dean st ;-)
bazzatron
Considering the Dyson's buses from Melbourne and the shuttles will all be going to the ground, Pre-drinks will be at Panthers.

Nate
But Mister Bazzatron, What about the Country Lasses? They're about a 5/10 on average ahaha How far from the pub is the ground? The pubs in the CBD are about 8km away from the ground and the Lavi Panthers Club is right next door.

heartrate
Hoping the heat goes come game time. Jestr
Last thing I want is to line up for half an hour to buy beer at the ground in this heat. I doubt this place can cater for 10k ish in their canteen. I hope I'm wrong Qustion......Will they allow small cooler bag with "refreshments" It's bloody 42deg!! billyheart
Morwell there were no lines, you just went up to a tent with 2 blokes sitting there, charging $5 for a tinnie that's sitting in a bathtub of ice. It was the best.

Tesla
Seriously, what are people doing? We'd have to leave Melbourne pretty early to get there for pre game. Will we know by then if it's being postponed or called off? I'd say there is a good chance even if it goes ahead that the ref could turn around and call it off before kick of Edited February 8, 2014 by Tesla
