The only thing worse than us signing him,  would be us declaring we are very close to signing him and then missing out to another A League Club.

Heart, whose head coach John Aloisi was a teammate of Kewell’s at the 2006 World Cup, has also flagged its interest with CEO Scott Munn saying “any A-League club would be keen on a fit Harry Kewell”

FFS.

Will probably end up choosing Wellington over us...

Had a feeling every friday night is going to be wsw vs x or visitors vs x for the whole season.

dont care. As that would mean we are less likely to play friday games.

friday games are the worst

Why? Personally hate Sunday games as their is no room for celebrating/commiserating afterwards and stymies the pub culture.

We'll never satisfy everyone with the day of the week and KO time.

Don't much like this idea of extending the season to 15th May simply by having having a couple of teams not playing every few weeks. Just makes the whole fixture irregular, and doesn't give us any more football at all. Much better to have a regular Home-Away-Home-Away weekly set-up. With an irregular fixture fans can't settle into a rhythm and IMO attendances will suffer as a result. Our fixture last season started off well, but towards the end was terrible - no home game for about three weeks and then two in one week.

No doubt we'll get the dirty end of the stick again for 2013-14.

If FFA wants to extend the season do it by bringing in the FFA Cup. Or at the very least an A-League Cup.

Who is this Damien de Bohun anyway and what the f*** does he know about football and what football fans want?

Can't see Halloran lasting anymore than 12 months, massively over-rated player. Has pace and that's about it, they may as well try signing Usain Bolt, he's quicker and probably just as technically good.

Think this will be a bonus to Brisbane allowing them to return to a passing game instead of Halloran running down the touchline at a million miles and hour and dribbling into the hoardings.

Agreed, Halloran has always striked me as that bloke who can bowl really really fast but his inaccurcy makes him rather pointless most of the time.

Channel 7 will be broadcasting the All Stars vs United as well as Visitors vs Liverpool. They will probably get BT to commentate, I can picture it now...

*Suarez kicks a goal* BT: OH BOY WOWEE SOOEZ THE ELECTRIC MAN FROM URGAY KICKS A BRILLIANT GOAL OFF THE GROUND!

So Matthew Ryan has officially moved to one of the clubs he was previously linked with, Club Brugge, where Eidur Gudjohnsen still plays. They've got two 30-ish goalkeepers, hopefully he can force himself to be first choice.

I would say that it isnt a move which i am really excited about for Matt, but it isnt as bad as i first thought. Good club, one of the best in Belgium and a number of GK are getting found in Scandinavia ect lately, Scnezny, Courtois, MIgnolet and others so he will get found if he plays well and comes up a level

Dennis would chip in with: 'centimetre perfect'.

As his surname suggests - Dennis is actually a keen Soccer fan, he has shown this numerous of times over the past twenty years with countless of smart and quirky references about Soccer whilst commentating AFL.

Probably more likely to have Manu and the greek guy from Packed to the Rafters commentating.

Lol - This is funny.
